بالذكر أن د. محمد موسى عمران كان قد تم اختياره من قبل المنظمة العالمية للربط
العالمى للطاقة رئيساً للجنة الإقليمية لمنظمة التنمية والتعاون للربط العالمي
للطاقة (GEIDCO) عن منطقة غرب أسيا وشمال افريقيا لمدة 3 سنوات. وجاء
ترشيح د .عمران لهذا المنصب الإقليمي استناداً الي خبراته المتراكمة في مجال
الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة والتي اكتسبها علي مدار فترة عمله بقطاع الكهرباء
والطاقة المتجددة والتي تجاوزت ال36 عاماً شغل خلالها العديد من المناصب الرفيعة
داخل قطاع الكهرباء وخارجه وتمثيل قطاع الكهرباء في مختلف المحافل الدولية
والإقليمية والمحلية. بعد
صدور قرار رئيس مجلس الوزراء بتعيين د. محمد موسى عمران رئيساً لجهاز تنظيم مرفق
الكهرباء و حماية المستهلك ، قرر د. محمد موسى تقديم استقالته من رئاسة
اللجنة الإقليمية لمنظمة التنمية والتعاون للربط العالمي للطاقة (GEIDCO) ، للتفرغ
لمهام جهاز تنظيم مرفق الكهرباء و حماية المستهلك و لضمان عدم تضارب المصالح بين

Omran as head of the Electricity Utility and Consumer Protection Regulatory
Authority, succeeding Dr. Muhammad Abdel Aziz Hassan Abdel Rahman It
is worth noting that Dr. Muhammad Musa Omran was chosen by the World Energy
Interconnection Organization as Chairman of the Regional Committee for
Development and Cooperation for Global Energy Interconnection (GEIDCO) for the
West Asia and North Africa region for a period of 3 years Dr.
Omran's nomination for this regional position came based on his accumulated
experience in the field of electricity and renewable energy, which he gained
over the course of his tenure in the electricity and renewable energy sector,
which exceeded the 36 years during which he held many high positions within and
outside the electricity sector and represented the electricity sector in
various international, regional and local forums after
the Prime Minister’s decision to appoint Dr. Muhammad Musa Omran as head of the
