Rimini, 6^th November 2026 – Twenty-nine years of challenges overcome, milestones reached, an international dimension and a growth strategy that has led the event to become a global benchmark for the green, blue and circular economy.

Ecomondo closes its 29^th edition today at Rimini Expo Centre with positive results, inviting us to look to the future and its 30^th anniversary, which will be celebrated in 2027: a 1% increase in domestic visitors, a 14% rise in international visitors, over 1,800 exhibiting brands, of which 21% came from abroad, and 171,000 m² of exhibition space. 651accredited journalists, 15% of whom were from abroad.

From Tuesday 3^rd November until today, Italian Exhibition Group’s international eventtransformed the Expo Centre into the focal point of the ecological transition, where environmental policies were translated into innovative solutions and technologies for industries and for more resilient, circular and competitive economic systems. In the Innovation District, 20 innovative start-ups and SMEs presented cutting-edge projects and solutions to speed up the ecological transition and circular economy development.

ECOMONDO BEYOND THE EURO-MEDITERRANEAN BORDERS

With 1,300 hosted buyers and delegations involved in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the Italian Trade Agency for the promotion and internationalisation of Italian companies abroad (ICE), and 14 international collectivesfrom Austria, Belgium, Canada, Chile, China, Denmark, Germany, Norway, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Spain and Switzerland,Ecomondo 2026 has further expanded its international reach.

For the first time in its history, the event hosted a foreign country: Mexico, one of Latin America’s most promising economies, which is reshaping its development model around the principles of the circular economy. This partnership will be further strengthened with the next edition of Ecomondo Mexico, scheduled to take place from 20^th to 22^nd April 2027 at Expo Guadalajara.

Africa was once again at the centre of Ecomondo’s internationalisation strategies this year with the launch of the Africa Investment HUB to encourage business and networking with associations across the continent.

In total, Ecomondo facilitated meetings between companies, institutions, associations, researchers and innovators, and favoured the exchange of technology, knowledge and skills through over 10,000 business matchmaking sessions.

A new feature at this 2026 edition was the arrival of a delegation of 11 Brazilian start-ups operating in the agri-food sector.

POLICIES, RESEARCH AND INNOVATION FOR THE GREEN TRANSITION

200 events, 70 of which organised by the International Technical Scientific Committee, chaired by professor Fabio Fava, brought European policies, research and innovationto the forefront of the debate at Ecomondofor the main industrial sectors, promoting a vision of an ecological transition that, rather than purely environmental aspects, also translates into a concrete transformation of production systems by combining sustainability, growth and competitiveness.

Resource efficiency – from textiles to water, plastics, packaging, right through to paper recycling –, sustainable finance, the blue economy, healthy and circular cities, bioenergy and the regenerative bioeconomy were at the heart of the programme, alongside in-depth discussions on developments in the European regulatory framework, climate change and adaptation, ecosystem restoration and international cooperation in the Mediterranean basin and Africa with the sixth edition of the Africa Green Growth Forum, organised in collaboration with the Task Force for the Implementation of the Presidential Office’s Mattei Plan, Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo and RES4Africa.

The 15^th edition of the States General of the Green Economy, organised at Ecomondo by the Foundation for Sustainable Development in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security and under the patronage of the European Commission and the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, provided an overview of the strategic issues facing the green economy in Italy and offered a glimpse of the wider world, particularly China, the USA, Europe and Africa. The first plenary session, held on the opening day of the event with the presentation of the 2026 State of the Green Economy Report, outlined a positive trend for Italy, albeit with some complexities, while the international session on Wednesday 4^th November, in collaboration with Italy for Climate, highlighted how the road to a global green economy is an obstacle course, where easy descents alternate with arduous uphill climbs.

تختتم إيكوموندو اليوم فعاليات دورتها التاسعة والعشرين في مركز ريميني للمعارض، محققة نتائج إيجابية تعزز التطلعات نحو المستقبل والاستعداد للاحتفال بالذكرى الثلاثين لانطلاق المعرض في عام 2027.

وسجلت الدورة ارتفاعاً بنسبة 1% في عدد الزوار المحليين، وزيادة بنسبة 14% في عدد الزوار الدوليين، بمشاركة أكثر من 1,800 علامة تجارية عارضة، جاء 21% منها من خارج إيطاليا، وعلى مساحة عرض بلغت 171 ألف متر مربع. كما استقطب الحدث 651 صحفياً معتمداً، من بينهم 15% من خارج إيطاليا.

وعلى مدار الفترة من الثلاثاء 3 نوفمبر وحتى اليوم، نجح الحدث الدولي الذي تنظمه مجموعة المعارض الإيطالية في تحويل مركز المعارض إلى نقطة التقاء رئيسية لقضايا التحول البيئي، حيث تحولت السياسات البيئية إلى حلول وتكنولوجيات مبتكرة تخدم القطاعات الصناعية، وتسهم في بناء أنظمة اقتصادية أكثر مرونة ودائرية وقدرة على المنافسة.

وفي «منطقة الابتكار» (Innovation District)، قدمت 20 شركة ناشئة ومؤسسة صغيرة ومتوسطة مبتكرة مشروعات وحلولاً متطورة تستهدف تسريع وتيرة التحول البيئي وتطوير الاقتصاد الدائري.

كما شهد المعرض تنظيم الدورة الخامسة عشرة من الجمعية العامة للاقتصاد الأخضر (States General of the Green Economy)، التي تنظمها مؤسسة التنمية المستدامة بالتعاون مع وزارة البيئة وأمن الطاقة الإيطالية، وبرعاية المفوضية الأوروبية ووزارة المشروعات والصناعة الإيطالية (Made in Italy).

وقدمت الجمعية رؤية شاملة للقضايا الاستراتيجية التي تواجه الاقتصاد الأخضر في إيطاليا، مع إطلالة على التطورات العالمية، ولا سيما في الصين والولايات المتحدة وأوروبا وأفريقيا.

وفي الجلسة العامة الأولى، التي انعقدت في اليوم الافتتاحي للمعرض، جرى عرض تقرير حالة الاقتصاد الأخضر لعام 2026، والذي أشار إلى اتجاه إيجابي في إيطاليا، رغم وجود عدد من التحديات والتعقيدات.

أما الجلسة الدولية التي انعقدت يوم الأربعاء 4 نوفمبر، بالتعاون مع مبادرة «إيطاليا من أجل المناخ» (Italy for Climate)، فقد سلطت الضوء على أن مسار التحول نحو اقتصاد أخضر عالمي لا يخلو من العقبات، إذ تتداخل فيه فرص التقدم السريع مع تحديات تتطلب جهوداً كبيرة وتجاوزاً للعديد من الصعوبات.

AFRICA GREEN GROWTH FORUM. THE MATTEI PLAN: INVESTMENT AND CO-OPERATION FOR AFRICA’S GROWTH

Relations between Italy and Africa, sustainable water management and development opportunities for the continent’s agricultural sector were the focus today of the sixth edition of the Africa Green Growth Forum, organised in collaboration with the Task Force for the Implementation of the Presidential Office’s Mattei Plan, Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo and RES4Africa. An opportunity to discuss the role of the Mattei Plan in promoting models of cooperation capable of creating networking between institutions, international organisations and businesses, while highlighting the private sector’s contribution to Africa’s sustainable growth. The proceedings were opened by Professor Fabio Fava, President of Ecomondo’s Technical Scientific Committee (TSC); Fabio Massimo Ballerini, a member of the Mattei Plan Task Force at the Presidential Office; and Francesco Corvaro, the Ministry for the Environment, Energy and Energy Security’s (MASE) Special Envoy for Climate Change. The event continued with a panel discussion on the challenges and opportunities for private investment within the Water Forward Initiative, followed by a presentation of case studies on water management for productive uses.

THE FUTURE OF PACKAGING BETWEEN INNOVATION, REGULATIONS AND SUSTAINABILITY  

Interpreting the requirements of the new Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), the challenges of eco-design, steering research towards recycled and bio-based materials, and building genuine end-to-end synergy between the packaging industry and large-scale retail, were the topics under discussion at Ecomondo yesterday during the Paper District GDO & Grocery Summit. The event focused on regulatory compliance relating to substances contained in packaging, recyclability requirements, supply chain innovations, the value of CO₂-derived polymers and circular efficiency throughout the product’s entire life cycle. The event, organised by Ecomondo in collaboration with Largo Consumo and the Italian Paper and Graphics Federation, opened with welcoming remarks from Mauro Delle Fratte, Exhibition Manager at Ecomondo, and a presentation by Micol Bertoni from Assografici. This was followed by two round-table discussions featuring representatives from companies in the retail sector and from large-scale retail organisations.

CLIMATE TRANSITION PLANS: TOOLS FOR MANAGING ESG RISKS AND GUIDING INVESTMENTS

For businesses and investors, climate transition plans are strategic tools for managing ESG risks and guiding industrial and financial decisions. Their role was discussed yesterday at the event “Climate transition plans for managing ESG risks: what role for businesses and investors?”. The session, chaired by Francesco Bicciato, Director-General of the Forum for Sustainable Finance, which helped organise the event, was attended by representatives from the financial sector (the European Investment Bank and the Green Climate Fund), sector associations (Eurosif and the Forum for Sustainable Finance) and the business sector, including the Hera Group. Plan credibility is key. Plans must translate climate objectives into actionable strategies and funded investments, providing investors with reliable and comparable information, while capital markets and intermediaries are tasked with channelling investment and credit, and public and private resources are deployed to support the implementation of the plans.

THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY AND DEFENCE BETWEEN STRATEGIC AUTONOMY AND DUAL-USE INNOVATION

Supply chain fragmentation and dependence on foreign supplies of critical raw materials also contribute to making the circular economy a strategic lever for the Italian and European defence industries. To boost autonomy, resource recovery must be accompanied by the development of industrial expertise in processing and reusing them. This was one of the key messages that emerged yesterday at the conference entitled “Circular Economy and Defence: Italian and European industry between challenges and opportunities”. The meeting, chaired by the President of Ecomondo’s Technical Scientific Committee (TSC),Professor Fabio Fava, and Lucia Leonessifrom Cisambiente Confindustria, brought together representatives from the Ministry of Defence, the Air Force, the Navy and the industrial world. Attention was also given to the prospects for dual-use applications, highlighting the contribution of research, innovation and collaborative design in the development of technologies and solutions applicable to both the civilian and defence sectors.

THE LORENZO CAGNONI GREEN INNOVATION AWARD FOR START-UPS AND EXHIBITORS AT ECOMONDO

The aim of the Lorenzo Cagnoni Award for Green Innovation, named after Italian Exhibition Group’s long-standing President, is to promote businesses and new ventures that are transforming research, technology and creativity into solutions for the ecological transition. The Award was presented today to ten innovative projects: six proposed by exhibitors at Ecomondo – one from each sector of the event – and four by start-ups in the Innovation District. IEG’s President, Maurizio Ermeti, opened the ceremony with an official address and presented the plaques to the exhibitors alongside Alessandra Astolfi, Global Exhibition Director of IEG’s Green & Tech division, and Mauro Delle Fratte, Exhibition Manager at Ecomondo. The award-winning companies were Idro Group (Bioenergy & Agriculture), Sumus Italia (Circular and Regenerative Bio-Economy), Planetek Italia(Earth Observation and Environmental Monitoring), Idealservice Soc. Coop. (Sites & Soil Restoration), D.E.S.O.T.E.C. International N.V. (Water Cycle & Blue Economy) and Circular Materials (Waste as a Resource). The awarded start-ups were Rarearth, Nemoris S.R.L. (Benefit Corporation), Flugantia Lab and Limenet S.R.L. (Benefit Corporation).

خطط التحول المناخي: أدوات لإدارة المخاطر البيئية والاجتماعية والحوكمة (ESG) وتوجيه الاستثمارات

تُعد خطط التحول المناخي بالنسبة للشركات والمستثمرين أدوات

 استراتيجية لإدارة المخاطر المتعلقة بالمعايير البيئية والاجتماعية والحوكمة (ESG)، ولتوجيه القرارات الصناعية والمالية. وقد نوقش دور هذه الخطط يوم أمس خلال فعالية بعنوان "خطط التحول المناخي لإدارة المخاطر البيئية والاجتماعية والحوكمة: ما هو دور الشركات والمستثمرين؟". وشهدت الجلسة -التي أدارها فرانشيسكو بيتشياتو، المدير العام لـ "منتدى التمويل المستدام" (وهو أحد الجهات المنظمة للفعالية)- مشاركة ممثلين عن القطاع المالي (مثل بنك الاستثمار الأوروبي وصندوق المناخ الأخضر)، والاتحادات القطاعية (مثل "يوروسيف" - Eurosif ومنتدى التمويل المستدام)، وقطاع الأعمال (بما في ذلك مجموعة "هيرا" - Hera Group). وتُعد مصداقية هذه الخطط عنصراً جوهرياً؛ إذ يجب أن تترجم الأهداف المناخية إلى استراتيجيات قابلة للتنفيذ واستثمارات ممولة، مما يوفر للمستثمرين معلومات موثوقة وقابلة للمقارنة. وفي الوقت ذاته، تقع على عاتق أسواق رأس المال والوسطاء الماليين مسؤولية توجيه الاستثمارات والائتمان، بينما يتم توظيف الموارد العامة والخاصة لدعم تنفيذ هذه الخطط.

يُعد تفتت سلاسل التوريد والاعتماد على مصادر خارجية للمواد الخام الحيوية دافعاً لجعل الاقتصاد الدائري ركيزة استراتيجية للصناعات الدفاعية الإيطالية والأوروبية. ولتعزيز الاستقلالية، لا بد أن يقترن استرداد الموارد بتطوير خبرات صناعية متخصصة في معالجتها وإعادة استخدامها. كانت هذه إحدى الرسائل الجوهرية التي برزت خلال مؤتمر عُقد أمس تحت عنوان "الاقتصاد الدائري وقطاع الدفاع: الصناعة الإيطالية والأوروبية بين التحديات والفرص". وقد جمع اللقاء - الذي ترأسه البروفيسور فابيو فافا، رئيس اللجنة العلمية التقنية (TSC) في معرض "إيكوموندو" (Ecomondo)، ولوسيا ليونيسي من اتحاد "سيسامبينتي كونفيندوستريا" (Cisambiente Confindustria) - ممثلين عن وزارة الدفاع، والقوات الجوية، والقوات البحرية، وقطاع الصناعة. كما سُلّط الضوء على آفاق التطبيقات ذات الاستخدام المزدوج، مع التأكيد على دور البحث والابتكار والتصميم التعاوني في تطوير تقنيات وحلول يمكن توظيفها في كل من القطاعين المدني والدفاعي.

جائزة "لورينزو كانيوني" للابتكار الأخضر للشركات الناشئة والعارضين في معرض "إيكوموندو"

تهدف جائزة "لورينزو كانيوني" للابتكار الأخضر - التي تحمل اسم الرئيس الراحل لمجموعة المعارض الإيطالية (Italian Exhibition Group) - إلى دعم الشركات والمشاريع الجديدة التي تحوّل الأبحاث والتقنيات والإبداع إلى حلول تدعم التحول البيئي. وقد مُنحت الجائزة اليوم لعشرة مشاريع مبتكرة؛ ستة منها قدمها عارضون في معرض "إيكوموندو" (مشروع واحد عن كل قطاع من قطاعات المعرض)، وأربعة قدمتها شركات ناشئة ضمن "منطقة الابتكار" (Innovation District). وافتتح ماوريتسيو إرميتي، رئيس مجموعة المعارض الإيطالية (IEG)، الحفل بكلمة رسمية، ثم قام بتسليم الدروع التقديرية للعارضين، بمشاركة أليساندرا أستولفي، المديرة العالمية للمعارض في قسم "الأخضر والتكنولوجيا" (Green & Tech) بالمجموعة، وماورو ديلي فراتي، مدير معرض "إيكوموندو". وشملت قائمة الشركات الفائزة كلاً من: "إيدرو جروب" (Idro Group) في مجال الطاقة الحيوية والزراعة، و"سوموس إيطاليا" (Sumus Italia) في مجال الاقتصاد الحيوي الدائري والتجديدي، و"بلانيتيك إيطاليا" (Planetek Italia) في مجال رصد الأرض والمراقبة البيئية، و"إيديال سيرفيس" (Idealservice Soc. Rimini, 3^rd November 2026 – As of today, Rimini is the global stage for the circular economy.

The 29^th edition of Ecomondo, an Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) event, has begun and will be ongoing until Friday at the Expo Centre reaffirming its status as the leading international platform for the green, blue and circular economies.

Ecomondo 2026 was inaugurated in the presence of the Hon. Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, Minister for the Environment and Energy Security, and with a video message from Adolfo Urso, the Minister for Enterprise and Made in Italy.

The ceremony was opened by the President of IEG, Maurizio Ermeti, who said: “The green economy is becoming increasingly strategic for the growth and competitiveness of the national industrial system and Ecomondo is at the forefront of this transformation. One of our great success stories, it has established a leading role at European level and is now becoming increasingly important for international markets. From Rimini to the world, it is the industrial platform of reference for businesses, institutions, research organisations, policy-makers and every key player in the circular and regenerative economy. We will continue to invest in this direction with vision, determination and confidence in the future.”

“Ecomondo is a top-level, European and global showcase for innovative technologies and solutions that combine environmental sustainability, industrial development and competitiveness. Sustainability is not just about protecting the environment, it is also about innovation and growth opportunities for our production and manufacturing sectors. The transition should not be seen as a set of constraints, but as developing and directing production and consumption models towards greater efficiency, such as making better use of resources, reducing waste and creating value with a lower impact on ecosystems. Ecomondo is the place where this vision takes shape through the exchange of ideas and the promotion of best practices,” said Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, Minister for the Environment and Energy Security.

“Sustainability is no longer merely an environmental issue; it also concerns industry and geopolitics. In the global competition for raw materials, energy and technologies, the ability to make the most of resources is a decisive factor for competitiveness. Italy can count on solid leadership in the circular economy, but the challenge of reducing dependence on foreign sources for the supply of materials is still central. This is why we have made circularity an industrial policy, also in regard to critical raw materials. Ecomondo is the place where innovation and the environment come together to find solutions for transforming this leadership into a competitive advantage, strengthening Italian industrial sovereignty and European strategic autonomy,” said Adolfo Urso, Minister for Enterprise and Made in Italy, speaking via video message.

The opening ceremony was also attended by Jamil Sadegholvaad, Mayor of Rimini; Fabrizio Lobasso, Deputy Director-General for Growth and Export Promotion – Central Director for the ‘Sistema Italia’ and Investments at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; Maurizio Forte, Central Director for Export Sectors at the Italian Trade Agency (ICE); and Michele de Pascale, President of the Emilia-Romagna Region.

The ceremony was followed by the opening of the 15^th edition of the States General of the Green Economy, organised by the Foundation for Sustainable Development in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security and under the patronage of the European Commission and the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy.

Today’s plenary session featured the presentation of the 2026 Report on the State of the Green Economy. Tomorrow will see the international plenary session entitled “Green economy perspectives in an unpredictable global scenario”, in collaboration with Italy for Climate and  with a real-time analysis of the key dynamics of the ecological transition at a global level.

The 29^th edition of Ecomondo consolidates the event’s steady growth. Spread across 30 halls and a 170,000 square metres of exhibition area, the event features over 1,800 exhibiting brands (with a 19% increase in those from abroad) and, through collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the Italian Trade Agency for the promotion and internationalisation of Italian companies abroad (ICE), more than 1,000 buyers hosted from Europe, the Middle East, India, Pakistan, China, South-East Asia, North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, North America and Latin America. Furthermore, over 60 representatives from international associations and numerous associate members will also be in attendance from various countries around the world, including Egypt, Morocco, Greece, Serbia, Hungary, Spain and South Africa. Added to these are 14 international trade delegations from Austria, Belgium, Canada, Chile, China, Denmark, Germany, Norway, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Spain and Switzerland, representing over 100 companies; Mexico, as Ecomondo’s first ever guest country; and a new area specifically for business and networking with African associations.

Unmissable events scheduled for tomorrow include:

• Forum on Responsible Communication (5^th edition): communication on a razor’s edge – The sustainable transition between environmental urgency and social cohesion, organised by Ecomondo’s Technical Scientific Committee and Ferpi and with the participation of the Ministry for the Environment and Energy Security and the Emilia-Romagna Order of Journalists.
• Finance: “Climate transition plans for ESG risk management: what role for companies and investors?”, organised by Ecomondo’s TSC with the Sustainable Investment Forum.
• Paper District GDO & Grocery Summit organised by Ecomondo’s TSC, Largo Consumo and the Paper and Graphics Federation.
• “Circular Economy and Defence: Italian and European industry between needs and opportunities”, organised by Ecomondo’s TSC and Cisambiente Confindustria.
• Healthy and circular cities: “Scaling the circular economy in the built environment:  urban mining”, organised by Ecomondo’s TSC with the Green Building Council Italy and the Polytechnic University of the Marche, and “Smart Circular Cities” with Bologna University.
• Regulatory landscape: “Closing the loop in waste management: the new challenges of the Circular Economy Act”, organised by Ecomondo’s TSC with UTILITALIA.

"بيكيتو فراتين": هنا يتشكل مسار التحول. "أورسو": إيطاليا تتصدر مشهد الاقتصاد الدائري. "إيرميتي": "إيكوموندو" منصة رائدة لقطاع الأعمال.

انطلاق النسخة الخامسة عشرة من "المؤتمر العام للاقتصاد الأخضر" (States General of the Green Economy).

ريميني، 3 نوفمبر 2026 – أصبحت مدينة ريميني، بدءاً من اليوم، منصة عالمية للاقتصاد الدائري.

انطلقت فعاليات النسخة التاسعة والعشرين من معرض "إيكوموندو" (Ecomondo) -الذي تنظمه مجموعة المعارض الإيطالية (IEG)- في مركز المعارض، حيث ستستمر حتى يوم الجمعة، مؤكدةً مكانتها كمنصة دولية رائدة في مجالات الاقتصاد الأخضر والأزرق والدائري.

افتُتح معرض "إيكوموندو 2026" بحضور وزير البيئة وأمن الطاقة، جيلبرتو بيكيتو فراتين، وبمشاركة رسالة مرئية من وزير المؤسسات و"صنع في إيطاليا" (Made in Italy)، أدولفو أورسو.  افتتح ماوريتسيو إرميتي، رئيس مجموعة "آي إي جي" (IEG)، مراسم الحدث قائلاً: "يُعد الاقتصاد الأخضر ركيزة استراتيجية تزداد أهميتها يوماً بعد يوم لنمو وتنافسية النظام الصناعي الوطني، ويأتي معرض ’إيكوموندو‘ (Ecomondo) في طليعة هذا التحول. لقد حقق المعرض نجاحاً باهراً، مكرساً مكانته الرائدة على المستوى الأوروبي، وهو الآن يكتسب أهمية متزايدة في الأسواق الدولية. ومن مدينة ريميني إلى العالم أجمع، يمثل ’إيكوموندو‘ منصة صناعية مرجعية للشركات والمؤسسات وهيئات البحوث وصنّاع السياسات، ولكل الأطراف الفاعلة في الاقتصاد الدائري والتجديدي. وسنواصل الاستثمار في هذا المسار برؤية واضحة وعزيمة راسخة وثقة تامة في المستقبل".

ومن جانبه، صرّح جيلبرتو بيشيتو فراتين، وزير البيئة وأمن الطاقة، قائلاً: "يُعد ’إيكوموندو‘ منصة عرض أوروبية وعالمية رفيعة المستوى للتقنيات والحلول المبتكرة التي تجمع بين الاستدامة البيئية والتنمية الصناعية والقدرة التنافسية. فالاستدامة لا تقتصر على حماية البيئة فحسب، بل تشمل أيضاً الابتكار وخلق فرص للنمو في قطاعات الإنتاج والتصنيع لدينا. ولا ينبغي النظر إلى هذا التحول كجملة من القيود، بل كعملية لتطوير وتوجيه نماذج الإنتاج والاستهلاك نحو كفاءة أكبر؛ من خلال الاستخدام الأمثل للموارد، والحد من النفايات، وتوليد القيمة مع تقليل الأثر على النظم البيئية. ويُعد ’إيكوموندو‘ الوجهة التي تتجسد فيها هذه الرؤية من خلال تبادل الأفكار وتعزيز أفضل الممارسات".

«لم تعد الاستدامة مجرد قضية بيئية فحسب، بل باتت تتعلق أيضاً بالصناعة والجغرافيا السياسية. ففي ظل المنافسة العالمية على المواد الخام والطاقة والتقنيات، تُعد القدرة على الاستفادة القصوى من الموارد عاملاً حاسماً في تعزيز التنافسية. وتتمتع إيطاليا بمكانة ريادية راسخة في مجال الاقتصاد الدائري، إلا أن تحدي تقليل الاعتماد على المصادر الخارجية لتوفير المواد يظل قضية جوهرية. ولهذا السبب، جعلنا من "الاقتصاد الدائري" ركيزةً لسياستنا الصناعية، لا سيما فيما يتعلق بالمواد الخام الحيوية. ويُعد معرض "إيكوموندو" (Ecomondo) منصةً تلتقي فيها الابتكارات بالبيئة، بهدف إيجاد حلول تتيح تحويل هذه الريادة إلى ميزة تنافسية، مما يعزز السيادة الصناعية الإيطالية والاستقلال الاستراتيجي الأوروبي»، هكذا صرّح أدولفو أورسو، وزير المؤسسات و«صنع في إيطاليا» (Made in Italy)، في رسالة مصورة.

كما حضر مراسم الافتتاح كل من: جميل صادق ألفاد، عمدة مدينة ريميني؛ وفابريزيو لوباسو، نائب المدير العام للنمو وترويج الصادرات - المدير المركزي لـ «نظام إيطاليا» (Sistema Italia) والاستثمارات في وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي؛ وماوريتسيو فورتي، المدير المركزي لقطاعات التصدير في وكالة التجارة الإيطالية (ICE)؛ وميكيلي دي باسكالي، رئيس إقليم إميليا-رومانيا.

وعقب المراسم، انطلقت النسخة الخامسة عشرة من «المؤتمر العام للاقتصاد الأخضر» (States General of the Green Economy)، الذي تنظمه «مؤسسة التنمية المستدامة» بالتعاون مع وزارة البيئة وأمن الطاقة، وبرعاية المفوضية الأوروبية ووزارة المؤسسات و«صنع في إيطاليا».

وشهدت الجلسة العامة اليوم عرض تقرير عام 2026 حول حالة الاقتصاد الأخضر. أما غداً، فستُعقد جلسة عامة دولية بعنوان «آفاق الاقتصاد الأخضر في ظل مشهد عالمي يتسم بعدم اليقين»، وذلك بالتعاون مع مبادرة «إيطاليا من أجل المناخ» (Italy for Climate)، حيث سيتم تقديم تحليل فوري للديناميكيات الرئيسية للتحول البيئي على المستوى العالمي.

وتؤكد النسخة التاسعة والعشرون من معرض «إيكوموندو» على النمو المستمر الذي يشهده هذا الحدث.  يمتد الحدث على مساحة عرض تبلغ 170 ألف متر مربع موزعة على 30 قاعة، ويضم أكثر من 1800 علامة تجارية عارضة (بزيادة قدرها 19% في عدد العلامات التجارية القادمة من الخارج). وبفضل التعاون مع وزارة الشؤون الخارجية والتعاون الدولي الإيطالية (MAECI) والوكالة الإيطالية للتجارة (ICE) -المعنية بتعزيز الشركات الإيطالية وتدويل أعمالها- يستضيف المعرض أكثر من 1000 مشترٍ من أوروبا، والشرق الأوسط، والهند، وباكستان، والصين، وجنوب شرق آسيا، وشمال أفريقيا، وأفريقيا جنوب الصحراء، وأمريكا الشمالية، وأمريكا اللاتينية. كما سيحضر الحدث أكثر من 60 ممثلاً عن جمعيات دولية وعدد كبير من الأعضاء المنتسبين من دول مختلفة حول العالم، بما في ذلك مصر، والمغرب، واليونان، وصربيا، والمجر، وإسبانيا، وجنوب أفريقيا. ويضاف إلى ذلك 14 وفداً تجارياً دولياً من النمسا، وبلجيكا، وكندا، وتشيلي، والصين، والدنمارك، وألمانيا، والنرويج، وجمهورية التشيك، وسلوفاكيا، وإسبانيا، وسويسرا، يمثلون أكثر من 100 شركة. كما تشارك المكسيك كأول "دولة ضيفة" في تاريخ معرض "إيكوموندو" (Ecomondo)، بالإضافة إلى تخصيص مساحة جديدة تهدف تحديداً إلى تعزيز الأعمال وبناء شبكات تواصل مع الجمعيات الأفريقية.

منتدى حول "التواصل المسؤول" (النسخة الخامسة): تحت عنوان "التواصل على حافة التحدي - التحول المستدام بين الضرورات البيئية والتماسك الاجتماعي"، بتنظيم من اللجنة العلمية التقنية لمعرض "إيكوموندو" (Ecomondo) واتحاد العلاقات العامة الإيطالي (Ferpi)، وبمشاركة وزارة البيئة وأمن الطاقة ونقابة الصحفيين في إقليم إميليا-رومانيا.

جلسة حول التمويل: "خطط التحول المناخي لإدارة مخاطر المعايير البيئية والاجتماعية وحوكمة الشركات (ESG): ما هو دور الشركات والمستثمرين؟"، بتنظيم من اللجنة العلمية التقنية لـ "إيكوموندو" بالتعاون مع "منتدى الاستثمار المستدام".

قمة "قطاع الورق وتجارة التجزئة والمواد الغذائية" (Paper District GDO & Grocery Summit)، بتنظيم من اللجنة العلمية التقنية لـ "إيكوموندو"، ومجلة "لارغو كونسومو" (Largo Consumo)، والاتحاد الإيطالي للصناعات الورقية والجرافيكية.
