نظم #الاتحاد_الأوروبي الاجتماع الثاني رفيع المستوى ضمن سلسلة من الاجتماعات االتي من المقرر تنظيمها تحت عنوان "حوار المياه بين الاتحاد الأوروبي ومصر"، وذلك في إطار #الاتفاقية_الخضراء. وشارك في الاجتماع مسؤولون من وفد الاتحاد الأوروبي لمصر ووزارة الموارد المائية والري وبنك الاستثمار الأوروبي والعديد من شركات وبنوك القطاع الخاص، حيث ناقش الاجتماع النتائج الأولية والجدوى الاقتصادية للعديد من المبادرات في قطاع المياه بالإضافة إلى دور برامج الاتحاد الأوروبي في تمكين مشاركة القطاع الخاص في قطاع المياه وتحسين كفاءة موارد التمويل من خلال توفير أدوات التمويل المختلفة مثل منح الاستثمار والضمانات التمويلية بالإضافة الي تركيز الاجتماع علي دعم برامج الري الحديث و تطوير نظم الري الحقلي بالشراكة مع البنوك المصرية و الوزارات المعنية وتابعونا للمزيد.
The #EuropeanUnion organized the second high-level meeting as part of a series of meetings planned to take place under the title "EU- Egypt Water Dialogue", in the framework of the #EUGreenDeal. The meeting was attended by officials from the European Union Delegation to Egypt, the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation, the European Investment Bank, and many private sector companies and banks. The meeting discussed the initial findings and the economic viability for several initiatives within the water sector and the role of EU-led programs in enabling private sector participation in the water sector and optimizing financing resources' efficiency through providing various financing tools such as investment grants and financing guarantees. In addition, the meeting focused on supporting modern irrigation programs and developing field irrigation systems in partnership with Egyptian banks and relevant ministries.
