Beit AlSennary, in Sayeda Zeinab, Cairo , which belongs to the Library of
Alexandria with the cooperation with the Egyptian network for renewables and
water cycle , organized an open seminar to the public under the title "The
role of civil society organization to increase the awareness of the
applications of renewable energies".

Present at the seminar Mr. Mohamed El-Laithy, the
director of IYDA "Intercultural Youth Dialogue Association".
IYDA participated in many events and workshops that
deal with renewable energies and environment. IYDA participated in the"
summer school of renewable energy" in Bonn, Germany in 20012 and 2013 by
sending 15 young male and female in each year. The participants age vary from
18-28. They attended workshops and field site visit to many companies that work
in the field. Engineer Islam Gebril who participated in the program was
attending the seminar to speak about his experience in Germany .
IYDA
also participated in "Introduction to Climate Change and how youth can
become the solution" by 15 young male and female. After returning back to
home the youth started train students through workshops to increase their
awareness about

It is worth mentioning that the seminar in collaboration with the Egyptian network for renewables and water cycle, and its founder, journalist Mohamed Elsayed Darwish, specialist in the affairs and issues of renewable energy and water, as it seeks the seminar to gain the commitment of decision-makers and civil society to adopt the applications, policies and strategies for the development of culture and industry and trade of alternative energy and definition of the political aspects of economic projects energies clean, and participate in the development of a framework for national action of sustainable development t and support shifting towards new and renewable energies and enhance water resources treatments.
