The online voting and the GreenTec Awards jury have determined this year's nominees. We would like to congratulate the best green projects of the year 2016. It becomes apparent once again that outstanding, often unknown projects can help protect and positively shape our environment

Just like last year, 100,000 registered and reviewed votes were counted in 2016's online voting and, complemented with the election results of the jury, saw to an exciting head-to-head race

Automobility

Environment and mobility have been at the center of attention for years. The level of mobility in the global population is increasing, the resources are dwindling, and emissions like exhaust gases and noise must be reduced drastically. Technological innovations like weight reduction, mileage optimization, lifecycle extension, production, or materials, as well as environmentally friendly mobility concepts and mobility services qualify for the category Automobility.

commitment and technology is at the center of attention. Decisive criteria for the award are the project’s contribution to the protection of the environment, the level of innovation the idea represents, and whether the idea is a suitable messenger for more eco-friendliness in the area of mobility. Both the potential as well as the results achieved so far are evaluated.
