استقبل صباح الإثنين د محمد شاكر وزير الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة وفد شركة UL ، لبحث سبل دعم وتعزيز التعاون بين وزارة الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة و الشركة.
أكد د شاكر خلال اللقاء أن مصر اتخذت العدید من المبادرات خلال السنوات القلیلة الماضیة للتحول فى الطاقة من أجل تعزیزوفتح الأسواق أمام استثمارات القطاع الخاص في مجال الطاقة التقلیدية والمتجددة، كفاءة الطاقة، الشبكات الذكیة والربط الكهربائى، فضلاً عن تعزیز الشفافیة وتطبیق نظام الحوكمة .
أشاد وفد الشركة بما تم من إنجازات في قطاع الكهرباء والطاقة المصرى والاهتمام الذى يوليه للتطوير فى كافة القطاعات ، كما أعرب عن تقديره أيضاً للإمكانيات الهائلة التى تمتلكها مصر والتى تؤهلها لتكون مركز إقليمى للطاقة.
وتم استعراض إمكانيات شركة UL العاملة فى مجال تقديم الإستشارات للطاقات المتجددة وانظمة الوقاية من الحرائق ، وتبادل الخبرات للتعرف على احدث التكنولوجيات فى هذا المجال .
عرض د شاكر الجهود التى يبذلها قطاع الكهرباء لزيادة القدرات المولدة، وتحسين كفاءة الطاقة ، والحرص على تنوع مصادر الطاقة سواء من مصادر متجددة أو فحم أو نووى ، مؤكداً على نجاح القطاع بفضل المساندة والدعم الفعال من جانب القيادة السياسية في التغلب على التحديات التي واجهته خلال الفترة الماضية وتحقيق الاستقرار للشبكة القومية وتغطية الفجوة بين الإنتاج والطلب علي الكهرباء من خلال عدد من الإجراءات.
وتم خلال اللقاء استعراض ما يقوم به القطاع لتطوير شبكات النقل والتوزيع والتحكمات،
وأوضح شاكر أن القطاع يرحب بالأفكارالجديدة وطلب تقديم مقترح يتضمن عدد من المشروعات الريادية القابلة للتطبيق لتحقيق الإستفادة لكل من قطاع الكهرباء و UL ، موجها بالتنسيق لبحث آليات التعاون بينهما ،
وأبدى الوزير فى نهاية اللقاء رغبة القطاع فى الاستفادة من التكنولوجيات المتاحة لدى UL ، مشيراً أنه سيتم تذليل كفاة العقبات لدعم وتعزيز التعاون بين الجانبين.
Dr. Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy have a meeting with the delegation of UL Company on Monday morning to discuss ways to support and enhance cooperation between the company and Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy
During the meeting, Dr. Shaker said that Egypt has taken many initiatives in the past few years to transform the energy in order to strengthen the market for private sector investments in the field of traditional and renewable energy, energy efficiency, intelligent networks and electrical connectivity, as well as enhancing transparency and implementing the system of governance
The company's delegation praised the achievements in the Egyptian electricity and energy sector and the interest it attaches to development in all sectors. He also expressed his appreciation for Egypt's enormous potential which qualifies it as a regional energy center
The capabilities of the UL company in the field of consultancy for renewable energies and fire protection systems were reviewed and the exchange of experiences to learn about the latest technologies in this field
Dr. Shaker presented the efforts exerted by the electricity sector to increase the generation capacity, improve energy efficiency and ensure the diversity of sources of energy, whether from renewable sources, coal or nuclear, stressing the success of the sector thanks to the support and effective support of the political leadership to overcome the challenges faced during the last period and achieve stability of the national grid and cover the gap between production and demand for electricity through a number of procedures
During the meeting, they reviewed the sector's efforts to develop transmission, distribution and control networks,
Shaker explained that the sector welcomes the new ideas and requested the submission of a proposal containing a number of pilot projects that can be applied to achieve the benefit of both the electricity sector and UL, directed to coordination to discuss mechanisms of cooperation between them,
The minister said at the end of the meeting the desire of the sector to take advantage of the technologies available to the UL, adding that the obstacles will be overcome to support and enhance cooperation between the two sides
