تمكين العمل من أجل المناخ (ACE) مصطلح اعتمدته اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة الإطارية بشأن تغير المناخ (UNFCCC) للإشارة إلى العمل بموجب المادة 6 من الاتفاقية (1992) والمادة 12 من اتفاق باريس. يتمثل الهدف الشامل لـ ACE في تمكين جميع أفراد المجتمع من الانخراط في العمل المناخي، من خلال ستة عناصر

التعليم والتدريب والتوعية الجماهيرية والمشاركة المجتمعية والوصول إلى المعلومات والتعاون الدولي بشأن هذه القضايا، وتنفيذ العناصر الستة أمر حاسم للاستجابة العالمية لتغير المناخ.

يجب على الجميع ، الشباب على وجه الخصوص، أن يفهموا ويشاركوا في التحول إلى عالم منخفض الانبعاثات ومرن مناخيا.

تعتبر أنماط الحياة المستدامة، وأنماط الاستهلاك والإنتاج المستدامة بمثابة قضايا أساسية للحد من انبعاثات غازات الاحتباس الحراري وتعزيز المرونة في مواجهة الآثار الحتمية لتغير المناخ. سيتطلب النجاح تعاونًا واسعًا بين جميع مستويات الحكومات وجميع قطاعات المجتمع.

يتمثل دور نقطة الاتصال الوطنية لـ ACE في تعزيز تنفيذ جميع عناصر ACE على المستوى الوطني.

يكون لنقاط الاتصال الوطنية ACE مسؤوليات سياسية وفنية وتنظيمية مختلفة وفقًا للظروف الوطنية.

يتم تنظيم منتديات للحوار لتبادل الأطراف وأصحاب المصلحة الآخرون خبراتهم وتبادل الأفكار والممارسات الجيدة والدروس المستفادة من تنفيذ ACE.

خلال مؤتمرات الاتفاقية كل عام يتم تنظيم حدث رفيع المستوى لصالح الACE ، يحضره وزراء البيئة والتعليم وأصحاب المصلحة من المجتمعات المدنية لمناقشة كيفية زيادة الطموح وتعزيز تنفيذ اتفاق باريس من خلال العمل من أجل تمكين المناخ.

يتم الاعلان عن تنظيم مسابقة الفيديو العالمية للشباب وسيلة للشباب من جميع أنحاء العالم لعرض أعمالهم للتصدي لظاهرة تغير المناخ. توفر المسابقة للشباب منصة لمشاركة نجاحاتهم وإلهام الشباب وصناع السياسات الآخرين.

يقود الشباب العمل المناخي من خلال تنفيذ مشاريع التخفيف والتكيف ، واقتراح حلول مبتكرة ، ودفع التقدم الاجتماعي وإلهام التغيير السياسي ، في السياقات الحضرية والريفية. يعرض يوم الشباب والأجيال القادمة في مؤتمرات الاتفاقية للأطراف COPs ويحتفل بالعمل المناخي للشباب من خلال أنشطة متعددة.

Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE) is a term adopted by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) to denote work under Article 6 of the Convention (1992) and Article 12 of the Paris Agreement
The over-arching goal of ACE is to empower all members of society to engage in climate action, through education, training, public awareness, public participation, public access to information, and international cooperation on these issues
Implementation of all six focus areas is crucial to global response to climate change. Everyone, including young, must understand and participate in the transition to a low-emission, climate-resilient world.
Sustainable lifestyles, sustainable patterns of consumption and production are fundamental to reducing greenhouse emissions and enhancing resilience to the inevitable effects of climate change
Success will require broad collaboration between all levels of government and all sectors of society
Role of National Focal Point for ACE is to foster the implementation of all ACE elements at the national level. ACE National Focal Points may have different political, technical and organizational responsibilities according to the national circumstances.
the Dialogues provide a regular forum where Parties and other stakeholders share their experiences, exchange ideas, good practices and lessons learned on the implementation of ACE
The high-level event, during ACE Day at COPs, brings together ministers of environment and education as well as non-Party stakeholders to discuss how to raise ambition and foster implementation of the Paris Agreement through Action for Climate Empowerment.
Annual Global Youth Video Competition is a means for youth from around the world to showcase their actions to combat climate change. The Competition provides youth a platform to share their successes and inspire other youth and policymakers
Young people are leading climate action by implementing mitigation and adaptation projects, proposing innovative solutions, driving social progress and inspiring political change, in urban as well as rural contexts. The Young and Future Generations Day at COPs showcases and celebrates youth climate action through multiple activities
