فى اطار استراتيجية الدولة بتعظم دور الطاقات الجديدة والمتجددة فى مزيج الطاقة ، ودعم القطاع الخاص والاعتماد عليه فى اقامة محطات التوليد من الطاقة الشمسية وطاقة الرياح ، شهد د. محمود عصمت وزير الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة مراسم توقيع اتفاقية مشروع إنشاء محطة طاقة رياح بقدرة 2000 ميجاوات بين كل من الشركة المصرية لنقل الكهرباء وشركة اكوا باور السعودية ، وبموجب هذه الاتفاقية تقوم الشركة السعودية بتطوير وتمويل وتشغيل المشروع الذي سيساهم في زيادة مشاركة الطاقة المتجددة في مزيج الطاقة الكهربائية وتعزيز جهود الدولة لتحقيق أهدافها في مجال الطاقة المتجددة ، وقام بالتوقيع من الجانب المصرى م. منى رزق رئيس مجلس إدارة الشركة المصرية لنقل الكهرباء ومن جانب شركة أكوا باور م. حسن امين المدير الإقليمي للشركة
اكد د. محمود عصمت، أن هذا المشروع يأتي فى اطار خطة العمل لتطوير قطاع الطاقة المتجددة لتعظيم العوائد والاستفادة من الموارد الطبيعية المتاحة وخفض استخدام الوقود الأحفوري وتقليل الانبعاثات الكربونية ، موضحا ان المشروع سيتم تنفيذه جنوب مدينة الغردقة ويأتي استمرارا للتعاون والشراكة مع شركة " أكوا باور " الرائدة في مجال الطاقة المتجددة ، مضيفا أن الدولة تبنت برنامجا طموحا للنهوض بقطاع الكهرباء في شتي المجالات وعلي رأسها تعظيم استغلال موارد الطاقة الجديدة والمتجددة ودعم وتشجيع الاستثمار في هذا المجال ويؤكد قدرة قطاع الطاقة المتجددة على جذب الاستثمارات الاجنبية المباشرة ، مشيرا إلى المناخ الاستثماري الذى يتمتع بمخاطر منخفضة وتفاعل إيجابي مع مؤسسات التمويل وشركاء التنمية.
اشار د.محمود عصمت إلى جهود قطاع الكهرباء للإسراع فى الخطوات التنفيذية لمشروعات الطاقة المتجددة من الطاقة الشمسية وطاقة الرياح لخفض وترشيد استهلاك الوقود والحد من انبعاثات الكربون، وتحقيق استدامة واستمرارية التغذية الكهربائية، مشيدا بالتعاون المثمر بين الشركة السعودية وقطاع الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة فى مختلف المجالات والذى يعد أحد نماذج النجاح التى يتم دعمها فى ضوء استراتيجية الطاقة التى تم اعتمادها ويجرى العمل فى إطارها من خلال خطة عمل وبرامج تنفيذية وجداول زمنية للربط على الشبكة، موضحا استراتيجية الدولة التى تهدف إلى زيادة مساهمة نسبة الطاقة المتجددة في مزيج الطاقة الكهربائية، وتقليل نسبة الإعتماد على الوقود الأحفورى، وزيادة مساهمة الطاقة النظيفة فى إجمالي الطاقة المولدة فى إطار رؤية سياسية التحول للأخضر والتى يجرى تنفيذها فى مختلف القطاعات
Within the framework of the state's strategy to maximize the role of new and renewable energies in the energy mix, and to support the private sector and rely on it in establishing solar and wind power generation stations, Dr. Mahmoud Esmat, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, witnessed the signing ceremony of the agreement for the project to establish a 2,000 megawatt wind power station between the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company and the Saudi ACWA Power Company. Under this agreement, the Saudi company will develop, finance and operate the project, which will contribute to increasing the participation of renewable energy in the electricity mix and enhancing the state's efforts to achieve its goals in the field of renewable energy. The signing was made on the Egyptian side by Eng. Mona Rizk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company, and on the part of ACWA Power, Eng. Hassan Amin, the company's regional manager. Mahmoud Esmat, that this project comes within the framework of the action plan to develop the renewable energy sector to maximize returns and benefit from available natural resources and reduce the use of fossil fuels and reduce carbon emissions, explaining that the project will be implemented south of Hurghada and is a continuation of the cooperation and partnership with "ACWA Power", a leader in the field of renewable energy, adding that the state has adopted an ambitious program to advance the electricity sector in various fields, most notably maximizing the exploitation of new and renewable energy resources and supporting and encouraging investment in this field and confirming the ability of the renewable energy sector to attract foreign direct investment, pointing to the investment climate that enjoys low risks and positive interaction with financing institutions and development partners.
Dr. Mahmoud Esmat referred to the efforts of the electricity sector to accelerate the implementation steps of renewable energy projects from solar energy and wind energy to reduce and rationalize fuel consumption and limit carbon emissions, and achieve sustainability and continuity of electrical supply, praising the fruitful cooperation between the Saudi company and the electricity and renewable energy sector in various fields, which is one of the models of success that are supported in light of the energy strategy that has been adopted and work is being carried out within its framework through an action plan, executive programs and timetables for connecting to the network, explaining the state's strategy that aims to increase the contribution of the percentage of renewable energy in the electricity mix, reduce the percentage of dependence on fossil fuels, and increase the contribution of clean energy to the total energy generated within the framework of the political vision of the green transformation that is being implemented in various sectors
