إطلاق العنان للفرص في مجال الطاقة المتجددة في المنطقة الأورومتوسطية Unleash the opportunities for renewable energy in the Euro-Mediterranean region

يفتتح غداً الأربعاء الدكتور محمد شاكر المرقبي وزير الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة المصري، والسيد خورخي سيجورو سانتشيز وزير الدولة للطاقة بدولة البرتغال، والسيد فتح الله السجلماسي أمين عام الاتحاد من أجل المتوسط، المنتدى الأول للأعمال في مجال الطاقة والمناخ تحت شعار: "إطلاق العنان للفرص في مجال الطاقة المتجددة في المنطقة الأورومتوسطية"

 قامت الأمانة العامة للاتحاد من أجل المتوسط بتنظيم الحدث تحت رعاية وزارة الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة وهيئة الطاقة الجديدة والمتجددة المصرية بالتعاون مع المرصد المتوسطي للطاقة OME والتحالف الدولي لحلول الطاقة وبدعم مالى من وكالة التعاون الدولي السويدية SIDA.

يهدف المنتدى لتوفير حلول ملموسة لتشجيع دور القطاع الخاص وتحول الطاقة في منطقة الأورومتوسط وذلك من خلال دعم وتعزيز التعاون في مجال الطاقة المتجددة وكفاءة الطاقة ، وتوفير فرص للمشاركة المتوازنة لممثلين من القطاعين العام والخاص بالإضافة إلى جهات التمويل ، وذلك لتبادل الآراء والخبرات مع ممثلي الحكومات الرسميين ، فضلاً عن إيجاد  فرص جديدة للتعاون من خلال مشروعات مشتركة أوتكامل استراتيجي أونقل خبرات.

يشارك فى المنتدى حوالى أكثر من 150 مشاركاً من مسؤولى الحكومات رفيعى المستوى من أعضاء الاتحاد من أجل المتوسط ، وممثلي من شركات القطاع الخاص الكبرى والشركات الناشئة العاملة في مجال الطاقات المتجددة، فضلاً عن ممثلى بنوك التنمية العالمية والجهات المانحة فى منطقة الأورومتوسط.

من المقرر أن يتم خلال المنتدى إستعراض النماذج الاستثمارية الناجحة بهدف التعرّف على الفرص الجديدة للأعمال والتعاون في مجالات الطاقة من أجل تحقيق التنمية المستدامة في مواجهة المناخ.

First Forum on Energy and Climate under the theme: "Unleashing Opportunities in Renewable Energy in the Euro-Mediterranean 

Region"

The event was organized by the General Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean under the auspices of the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy and the Egyptian New and Renewable Energy Authority in cooperation with the Mediterranean Energy Observatory OME and the International  Alliance for Energy Solutions.

With financial support from the Swedish International Cooperation Agency (SIDA)

The Forum aims to provide concrete solutions to promote the role of the private sector and transform energy in the Euro-Mediterranean region by supporting and strengthening cooperation in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency, and providing opportunities for balanced participation of representatives from the public and private sectors as well as funding bodies to exchange views and experiences with government representatives, As well as to create new opportunities for cooperation through joint ventures, integrated strategic and transfer of expertise

More than 150 participants from high-level government officials from the Union for the Mediterranean, representatives from major private sector companies and startups working in the field of renewable energies, as well as representatives of global development banks and donors in the Euro-Mediterranean region, will attend the forum.
