As a result of huge energy consumption, increasing
electricity prices and climate change, the demand of energy efficient concepts
for housing will continue to rise in the coming decades. New methods of
isolating, cooling and heating buildings as well as sustainable architectonic
techniques are available to adjust to the status quo. The conference will
provide a space to tackle the most urgent issues in a dialogue between
researchers, practitioners and policy makers to raise awareness of the whole
concept of energy efficiency
Organized by the DAAD in joint collaboration with the
German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK) and the KfW Development
Bank, the conference aims to foster collaboration between stakeholders from
science, industry and finance. In the presence of Andreas Hergenröther, CEO of
the German-Arab Chamber of Industry & Commerce, Burkhard Hinz, Director of
the KfW Office Cairo and Dr Roman Luckscheiter, Director of the DAAD Cairo
Office, participants shall exchange up to date knowledge, examples of best
practice and applications in the field of energy efficient buildings with a
special focus on insulation
COSIMENA (Clusters of Scientific
Innovation in the Middle East and North Africa) provides issue driven clusters
for regional exchange in the fields of water, health, energy, urbanism and
economy, which aim to deepen the cooperation and partnership between Germany and
countries of the Middle East and North Africa
While the KfW will elaborate on their plans of financing
opportunities for building insulation in Egypt and the AHK gives an overview of
the market situation and products for building insulation, the DAAD facilitates
the presentation of up to date scientific knowledge (research, development,
testing etc.) by researchers focusing on building insulation and energy
efficiency

الألمانية العربية وبنك التنمية الألماني إلى تعزيز التعاون بين أصحاب المصلحة من العلوم
والصناعة والمالية. في حضور أندرياس هيرجنروثر، الرئيس التنفيذي للغرفة الألمانية العربية
للصناعة والتجارة، بوركهارد هينز، مدير مكتب القاهرة لبنك التنمية الالماني والدكتور
رومان لوكشيتر، مدير مكتب القاهرة لهيئة التبادل العلمي . يجب على المشاركين تبادل
المعرفة ، أفضل الممارسات والتطبيقات في مجال المباني ذات الكفاءة في استخدام الطاقة
مع التركيز بشكل خاص على العزل
تقدم مجموعة كوزيمينا (مجموعة من الابتكارات العلمية في الشرق
الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا) مجموعات مدفوعة بالقضايا من أجل التبادل الإقليمي في مجالات
المياه والصحة والطاقة والتحضر والاقتصاد، والتي تهدف إلى تعميق التعاون والشراكة بين
ألمانيا ودول الشرق الأوسط شرق وشمال أفريقيا
في حين أن بنك التنميةالألماني
سوف يقدم تفاصيل عن خطط تمويل فرص بناء العزل في مصر و لمحة عامة عن وضع السوق والمنتجات
لبناء العزل، و هيئة التبادل العلمي يسهل عرض المعرفة العلمية الحديثة (البحث والتطوير
والاختبار الخ ) من قبل الباحثين الذين يركزون على بناء العزل وكفاءة الطاقة
