There is wide international support for the idea of achieving climate neutrality by 2050. To this end, the world needs a Global Green Deal with the transformation of the energy systems at its heart. The tools are in our hands! Collaboration between politics, industry, science and civil society in a new multilateral framework is a precondition for a global green transition. Policymakers need to provide the right framework to combine national realities with global goals.

Energiewende – A Global Green Deal
on 24 and 25 March 2020

VENUE: Federal Foreign Office, Unterwasserstraße 10 entrance, 10117 Berlin (security check)
START: Tuesday, 24 March at 7 a.m. (Admission to press conference is at 8.00 a.m., conference starts at 9 a.m.)

Over 2,000 participants from more than 90 countries, some 40 ministers and state secretaries and 100 high-level speakers will come to the German capital for this event. We are particularly pleased that the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, has agreed to deliver a keynote speech.

Prior registration is required for all attendees, including journalists. Please submit a press accreditation request via the conference website: https://2020.energydialogue.berlin/press/

If you are a young journalist, you may want to consider applying for the BETD Media Fellowship: https://fellows.energydialogue.berlin/.

Deadline for the fellowship application is 2 February 2020.

البداية: الثلاثاء ، 24 مارس ، الساعة 7 صباحًا (القبول في المؤتمر الصحفي هو الساعة 8:00 صباحًا ، ويبدأ المؤتمر في الساعة 9 صباحًا)
