قام م. عبدالله السيد ، المصري المقيم بألمانيا، و خبير البيئة والسلامة و الإستدامه بإلقاء محاضره فى مؤتمر السلامة والبيئة فى برلين HSE Nexus 2025 . تركزت كلمته على آثار التغيير المناخى على الصحة المهنية والسلامة فى بيئة العمل، قام بشرح الأثار السلبية للتغير المناخى على صحة الإنسان و من ضمنها زيادة الإجهاد الحرارى و الأشعة الفوق بنفسجية الضارة التى تسبب سرطان الجلد و زيادة الكوارث البيئية والفياضانات مثل فياضانات ألمانيا التى راح ضحيتها أكثر من ١٩٠ شخص عام 2021 و كارثة مدينة درنة الليبية عام 2023 التى فقد فيها اكثر من ٤ الآف شخص و تم محوا أحياء كامله من المدينة وخسائر مادية تصل الى ٢١ مليار دولار. من ضمن كلمته كان التركيز على إثبات علاقة التغير المناخى بزيادة الأمراض المهنية والإصابات و الوفيات ضمن بيئة العمل. عرض م. عبدالله جهود وكالة العمل الدولية فى سن قوانين تحد من أثار التغير المناخى السلبية على صحة العمال و دور الشركات فى انشاء مبانى مقاومة للتغير المناخى و جعل الشركات و الأفراد أكثر مرونة بما يسمى بمصطلح ال Reselience. قام أيضا بعرض أهمية دمج خطط المناخ فى استراتيجيات الشركات.
حسب سجله الشخصي يعتبر م.عبدالله السيد من الخبراء القليلين الذين يجمعون خبرات فى السلامه والصحة المهنية و بين التغيير المناخى حيث درس فى ألمانيا ماجستير الهندسة البيئية و عمل بأحدى أكبر شركات الطاقة الإيطالية.

Eng. Abdullah El-Sayed, an Egyptian resident in Germany and an expert in environment, safety, and sustainability, delivered a lecture at the HSE Nexus 2025 Safety and Environment Conference in Berlin. His speech focused on the effects of climate change on occupational health and safety in the workplace. He explained the negative effects of climate change on human health, including increased heat stress and harmful ultraviolet radiation, which causes skin cancer, as well as an increase in environmental disasters and floods. These include the 2021 floods in Germany, which claimed the lives of more than 190 people, and the 2023 Derna disaster in Libya, which resulted in the loss of more than 4,000 lives, the destruction of entire neighborhoods, and material losses amounting to $21 billion. His speech focused on proving the relationship between climate change and the increase in occupational diseases, injuries, and fatalities in the workplace.
Eng. Abdullah presented the efforts of the International Labor Agency to enact laws that limit the negative effects of climate change on workers' health, the role of companies in constructing climate-resilient buildings, and making companies and individuals more resilient, a concept known as resilience.
He also highlighted the importance of integrating climate plans into corporate strategies. Based on his personal record, Eng. Abdullah Al-Sayed is one of the few experts who combine expertise in occupational health and safety with climate change, having studied in Germany for a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering and worked for one of the largest Italian energy companies.
