Within the framework of the efforts exerted by the
Ministry of Industry and Foreign Trade to enhance Egypt's local manufacturing
capacity in order to increase the competitiveness and productivity of the
industrial sector, create new job opportunities and support the Egyptian
Economy, and with reference to the increasing need for production and deployment
of renewable energy technologies as a sustainable source of energy in order to
address the major energy challenges the country is facing
It is my pleasure to inform you that the Industrial
Council for Technology and Innovation affiliated to the Ministry of Industry
and Foreign Trade in cooperation with the German International Cooperation
Agency (GIZ) and the Federation of Egyptian Industries (chamber of Engineering
Industries) are organizing a launching event for the Initiative entitled “Local
Manufacturing for Green Technologies - Solar Water Heaters”. The event aims to
present and discuss the opportunities for deepening the local manufacturing of
the Solar Water Heaters components and equipment in light of the emerging
market demand, through matching the Egyptian potential component manufacturers with
the existing Solar Water Heaters producers.
It is therefore with great pleasure that I invite you
to participate in this event which will be held on Sunday the 19th of May 2013
at Sofitel El Gezirah hotel the "Opera venue" - (3 El Thawra Council
St Zamalek) at 9 am
