IFAT summary press




I.  Innovations I every aspect of water management and valuable secondary products. This includes; but not limited to:
A)      Waste containers 
B)      Waste collection vehicles' loading securing system
C)      A new system of waste collection vehicles rental and its advantages
D)      Crushing machinery
E)       Sites monitoring devices

II.    Live demonstrations of recycling building materials on approx. 8,000 m2 of space with a focus o processing building waste. 

III. Plenty of new ideas I water and waste water treatment. Drinking water production and the treatment of waste water, plus all the associated transport, management and monitoring functions, are central themes at the world’s leading environmental technology exhibition, IFAT in Munich. In all segments of the water and waste-water industry, there is still plenty of scope for innovations, as the sector will be amply demonstrating at the Messe München exhibition center between May 5 and 9, 2014. Here are just some examples of what the exhibitors showcased ahead of the event, at the Media Dialog which took place on January 7 and 8, 2014

a) Leading companies showing its interest in the field and developing new products; e.g. Siemens with " SIWA", Ashbrook  Simon-Hartley/Alfa Laval "Iso-Disc", in Rotamat screens "Huber SE: RPPS Star screen system and RoMem Liquid screen ", in pumps "Netzsch : iFDStator 2.0", "Allweiler: Alldur", I absorbers "Blucher: Saratech", in solid/liquid separator " BASF: Zetag Ultra", in measurement technology " Macherey-Nagel: new spectrophotometer Nanocolor UV/VIS II".     
  
IV.  What are the key themes in the sector? Country and Themes once again the main attraction. Intelligent urbanization, in three blocks.
Both country ad thematically based forums will be organized.
This is an opportunity to take a close look at what is happening in selected markets around the world, a chance to review the challenges faced there and weigh up the solutions offered. Up-and-coming markets are presented, as well as established ones. India, China, Mexico/Central America, Canada and Turkey are countries hosted in these forums. 

Recycling phosphorus, waste disposal logistics, waste management and aircraft recycling, Conservation of resources by means of closed cycle waste management, Sustainable water management and Best practices from BMBF research funding on raw materials technology, those are the themes addressed in the forums.
