Scatec Solar and
partners have signed 25-year Power Purchase Agreements for delivery of
electricity from six solar plants totaling 400 MW (DC) with the Government of
Egypt. The signing ceremony took place in Cairo on April 13 in the presence of
Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Dr. Mohamed Shaker
El-Markabi and the Ambassador of Norway Mr. Sten Arne Rosnes
All located in Ben Ban area near Aswan
in Upper Egypt, the solar plants are expected to generate about 870 GWh of
solar electricity per year. These projects are part of the 2 GW solar FiT
programme launched by the Egyptian Government in 2015. The electricity produced
from the 400 MW is expected to replace about 350,000 tons of CO2 emissions per
year, supporting Egypt's emission reduction targets under the Paris Climate
Agreement

Egypt is making important steps towards accessing clean and low cost
electricity to drive development and economic prosperity. Scatec Solar and

Total investments for the 400 MW of
solar plants is estimated to USD 450 million and the plants are expected to
generate annual revenues of about USD 60 million over the 25-year contract
period. Scatec Solar will build, own and operate all six projects and Scatec
Solar's share of equity investments will be in the range of USD 50-70 million.
Scatec Solar is partnering with local developers and with KLP Norfund
Investments for equity investments in the projects and may add additional
partners to an equity consortium before financial close
European Bank for Reconstruction and
Development (EBRD) is leading a consortium of banks that is expected to support
the six projects with a total debt of up to USD 350 million

سكاتك سولار وشركاؤها يوقعون اتفاقية شراء القوى الكهربائية من الطاقة المتجددة لـ400 ميجاوات في مصر
قامت شركة سكاتك سولار وعدد من
شركائها بتوقيع اتفاقيات شراء القوى الكهربائية من الطاقة المتجددة لمدة 25 عام
لإنتاج الكهرباء من ستة محطات لإنتاج الطاقة الشمسية بقدرة 400 ميجاوات (تيار
مباشر) مع حكومة جمهورية مصر العربية. وقد تم توقيع الاتفاقيات في القاهرة يوم
الخميس الموافق 13 أبريل 2017 بحضور كل من وزير الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة السيد
الدكتور/ محمد شاكر المرقبي وسفير النرويج ستين آرني روزنيس.
من المقرر إنشاء محطات الطاقة الست
في منطقة بنبان، بمحافظة أسوان بصعيد مصر، ومتوقع أن تنتج 870 جيجاوات/ساعة من
الكهرباء في العام الواحد. وهذه المشروعات هي جزء من برنامج تعريفة التغذية الذي
طرحته الحكومة المصرية عام 2015 بهدف إنتاج 2 جيجاوات من الطاقة الشمسية. كما أنه
من المتوقع أن تستبدل الكهرباء المنتجة من المشروعات الست 350 ألف طن من انبعاثات
ثاني أكسيد الكربون في العام، مما يساهم في تحقيق مستهدفات تخفيض الانبعاثات
لجمهورية مصر العربية طبقا لاتفاق باريس بشأن تغير المناخ.
صرح ريموند كارلسن، الرئيس
التنفيذي لسكاتك سولار، بأن "الحكومة تستهدف من خلال برنامج تعريفة التغذية
الوصول إلى كهرباء نظيفة بسعر منخفض لدفع عجلة التنمية والازدهار الاقتصادي، لذا
تحرص سكاتك سولار وشركاؤها على القيام بضخ استثمارات ضخمة والتأكيد على التزاماتهم
طويلة الأجل في هذا المجال في مصر".
تصل قيمة الاستثمارات المتوقعة في
محطات الطاقة الشمسية بقدرة 400 ميحاوات إلى حوالي 450 مليون دولار أمريكي، كما
أنه من المتوقع أن تحقق المحطات عائد سنوي قدره 60 مليون دولار أمريكي كل عام خلال
مدة التعاقد البالغة 25 عام. وسوف تقوم سكاتك سولار ببناء وتملك وتشغيل الست
مشروعات، علما بأن حصة سكاتك سولار في رأس مال هذه المشروعات تتراوح ما بين 50 و70
مليون دولار. وتشترك سكاتك سولار مع كيه إل ݒي نورفند للاستثمارات في تمويل حصة
رأس المال في هذه المشروعات، كما أنها يمكن أن تقوم بإضافة شركاء آخرون لتحالف
تمويل حصة رأس المال قبل تاريخ الإقفال المالي.
تشترك سكاتك سولار أيضا في تطوير
المشروعات مع مطورين محليين وأجانب هم نايل كابيتال القابضة للاستثمارات المالية،
وصن إنفينيت للطاقة، وتي ݒي كيه، وفيلادلفيا للطاقة الشمسية، والمؤسسة الإسلامية
لتنمية القطاع الخاص، كما تعمل مع شركة فديكوم للتجارة والهندسة الشريك المحلي
لتطوير المشروعات.
يقود البنك الأوروبي لإعادة الإعمار
والتنمية تحالف من البنوك لتمويل المشروعات الست بدين إجمالي قدره 350 مليون دولار
أمريكي.
سكاتك سولار شركة
رائدة في تطوير وتملك المحطات الكبيرة لإنتاج الطاقة الشمسية في أفريقيا وأوروبا
والشرق الأوسط والأمريكتين. وبهذه الإضافة الأخيرة، يصل حجم مشروعات سكاتك سولار
