ENFRWC -
A “Water and Waste Water Management” delegation
took place from October 15-20, 2017 under the scope of the “Bayern – Fit for
Partnership”ً program. The
delegation was organised and implemented by the German-Arab Chamber of Industry
and Commerce (GACIC), the IHK for Munich and Upper Bavaria and the
Environmental Cluster of Bavaria. The Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs,
Media, Energy and Technology financed the visit
15 Egyptian private companies from the fields
of water utility construction on a communal level, sewage treatment of
industrial effluent and technology services, as well as, water and waste water
management consulting firms participated in the visit. From the Bavarian side,
21 companies took part
Purpose
The demand for new concepts and modern
technologies in the field of water and waste water management in Egypt is
increasing due to Eco-political duties, economic necessities and a growing
conscience for sustainable action. The tour aimed to serve these developments
through knowledge transfer by introducing Bavarian technologies, facilities and
system solutions to the Egyptian delegates. In this framework, the participants
were given the opportunity to view a variety of Bavarian products and services
in the fields of industrial and communal water and waste water management in
the form of presentations and visits to sewage plants and company sites. Going
further, the knowledge transfer tour intends to lay the foundation for
Egyptian-Bavarian business relations
Implementation
During the four days of the visit, the Egyptian
delegates visited seven company sites in total. The respective companies’
representatives introduced their enterprises, explained how certain machines
and equipment functioned, and presented general issues and challenges in the
field of water and waste water management. The delegates also visited the Water
Technology Transfer Project at the Hof Water Authority. The Egyptian delegates
gained insight into German technology and solutions in the field, and had the
opportunity to ask questions, conduct one-on-one conversations at the Water
Authority’s in-house fair, and establish essential business contacts
On the last day, the delegates visited the Bavarian
company, Inge GmbH, where two experts presented the company’s innovative
products in the field of ultra-filtration. The presentation was followed by an
intense discussion between all participants about the technology’s application
and advantages. At the company’s site, the closing discussion was held and
certificates given to the delegates
Outcomes
The tour proved to be a promising stepping
stone for the future Egyptian-Bavarian cooperation. Valuable business
relationships were made between the Egyptian delegates and the Bavarian
enterprises
The delegates noted that it would be necessary
to adjust German solutions to the conditions in Egypt as they cannot be
transferred as is. The participants suggested a visit of German companies to
Egypt so that their German counterparts could have a better understanding of
the country’s actual circumstances. Another suggestion focused on the
establishment of projects and solutions for technology transfer cooperation

الهدف
يتزايد الطلب على المفاهيم الجديدة والتقنيات الحديثة في مجال إدارة
المياه والصرف الصحي في مصر بسبب الضروريات السياسية - الاقتصادية والاهتمام المتزايد
للعمل التنموي المستدام. هدفت الجولة إلى خدمة التطورات من خلال نقل المعرفة عن طريق إدخال
التقنيات البافارية ومرافق وحلول النظام لممثلي الشركات المصرية، أتيحت للمشاركين فرصة
الاطلاع على مجموعة متنوعة من المنتجات والخدمات البافارية في مجالات الإدارة الصناعية
والمجتمعية وإدارة مياه الصرف في شكل عروض وزيارات لمحطات الصرف الصحي ومواقع الشركات.
تعتزم الجهات المشاركة نقل المعرفة إرساء أساس لعلاقات العمل المصرية البافارية
التنفيذ
خلال أيام الزيارة الأربعة زار الوفد المصري سبعة مواقع لشركات.
قدم ممثلو الشركات المعنية مشاريعهم، وأوضحوا كيف تعمل بعض الآلات والمعدات، وعرضوا
قضايا وتحديات عامة في مجال إدارة المياه والصرف الصحي. زار المندوبون مشروع نقل تكنولوجيا
المياه ، اكتسب المندوبون المصريون نظرة عميقة حول التكنولوجيا والحلول الألمانية في
هذا المجال، وأتيحت لهم الفرصة لطرح الأسئلة وإجراء محادثات فردية ، وإقامة اتصالات
تجارية أساسية
النتائج
أشار ممثلي الشركات المصرية لضرورة تعديل الحلول الألمانية للظروف المصرية حيث
لا يمكن نقلها كما هي. اقترح المشاركون قيام الشركات الألمانية بزيارة مصر حتى يتمكن نظرائهم
الألمان من فهم أفضل للظروف الفعلية للسوق المحلي.
وركز اقتراح آخر على إنشاء مشاريع وحلول
للتعاون في مجال نقل التكنولوجيا
