إطلاق الحملة القومية للتخلص الامن من المخلفات الالكترونية من خلال التطبيق الالكتروني E-Tadweer وذالك من خلال مشـروع "إدارة المخلفات الطبية والإلكترونية" الذي تنفذه وزارة البيئة - Ministry of Environment بالتعاون مع برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي في مصر ومرفق البيئة العالمية Global Environment Facility
يدعم E-Tadweer أنظمة الإدارة السليمة والمستدامة للمخلفات الإلكترونية، وتعظيم الاستفادة من المعادن الثمينة الموجودة بالمخلفات الإلكترونية وضمان إعادة تدويرها بطرق مستدامة بيئيا واقتصاديا. سيتيح التطبيق للمواطن التنويه عن المخلفات الإلكترونية وفي المقابل سيحصل على قسائم تخفيض من أحد شركاء العمل وسيتم التخلص الآمن من المخلفات التي سيتم جمعها لدى مصانع التدوير الرسمية بطريقة آمنة على الصحة والبيئة.
قامت وزيرة البيئة د. ياسمين فؤاد باطلاق الحملة بحضور رندة أبو الحسن - الممثل المقيم لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي في مصر، د. شريف الجبلي- رئيس لجنة تسيير مكتب الالتزام البيئي والتنمية المستدامة، أ/ محمد عبد الله – الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة فودافون مصر، م/ اسامة زكي – الرئيس التنفيذي لراية للتصنيع ورئيس الاستدامة، أ.د. طارق العربي - مدير مشروع ادارة المخلفات الطبية والالكترونية، أ. كريم دبوس – مطور التطبيق الالكتروني
قالت رندة أبو الحسن "أن مبادرة أيتدوير E-Tadweer - نموذج مبتكر للشراكة بين الحكومة والأمم المتحدة والمجتمع المدني والقطاع الخاص المسئول والمعنى بالحفاظ على البيئة لتوفير الية بسيطة تحفز المواطنين على التخلص الأمن من مخلفاتهم الإلكترونية. وسيكون للمواطنين دور هام واساسي في هذه المبادرة من خلال مشاركتهم، لكي نصل الى وضع آمن ومستدام للتخلص من المخلفات الإلكترونية."

launch the National Campaign for the Safe Disposal of Electronic Waste through the E-Tadweer application through the "Medical and Electronic Waste Management" project implemented by Ministry of Environment in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program in Egypt and the Global Environment Facility
E-Tadweer supports sustainable management systems for e-waste, maximizing the utilization of the precious metals contained in e-waste and ensuring their recycling environmentally and economically sustainable ways
The application will allow the citizen to inform about e-waste, and in return, he will receive discount vouchers from one of the business partners. The waste that will be collected at official recycling plants will be safely disposed of in a safe manner on health and the environment
Minister of Environment, Dr. Yasmine Fouad launched the campaign in the presence of Mrs. Randa Abu Al-Hassan - Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Egypt, Dr. Sherif El-Gabaly - Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Environmental Compliance and Sustainable Development Office, Mr. Mohamed Abdullah - CEO of Vodafone Egypt, Eng. Osama Zaki - CEO of Raya Manufacturing and Head of Sustainability, Prof. Tariq Al-Arabi - Project Manager for Medical and Electronic Waste Management, Prof. Karim Pin - electronic application developer
Mrs. Randa Abul-Hassan said, "The E-Tadweer initiative is an innovative model for partnership between the government, the United Nations, civil society and the responsible private sector concerned with preserving the environment to provide a simple mechanism that motivates citizens to safely dispose of their electronic waste
Citizens will have an important and essential role in this initiative during their participation, in order to get safe and sustainable disposal of e-wast
