شارك مكتب الالتزام البيئي والتنمية المستدامة باتحاد الصناعات المصرية في فعاليات منتدى "المجتمع الأخضر ..الطريق نحو الجمهورية الجديدة "تحت عنوان " الطريق الى قمة المناخ الــ 27 و تحقيق التنمية المستدامة فى الجمهورية الجديدة "  برئاسة د. شريف الجبلى رئيس لجنة الشئون الافريقية بمجلس النواب ورئيس مكتب الالتزام البيئي باتحاد الصناعات المصرية وبرعاية وزارة الانتاج الحربى ، وزارة التخطيط والتنمية الاقتصادية ، وزارة التضامن الاجتماعى ،وزارة البيئة والهيئة العامة للاستثمار والبورصة المصرية وبحضور  هشام توفيق وزير قطاع الأعمال  ، ود.نيفين القباج وزيرة التضامن الاجتماعي ،د. محمد فريد رئيس مجلس إدارة البورصة المصرية ،وممثلي وزارات الإنتاج الحربى والمالية ووزارة التجارة والصناعة وأكثر من 300 رئيس تنفيذي من الشركات والجهات المعنية.

صرح د. شريف الجبلي رئيس مكتب الالتزام البيئي باتحاد الصناعات  خلال المؤتمر إن المكتب يعمل على توفير التمويل اللازم للمصانع من أجل التوافق مع المعايير والضوابط البيئية، مشيرا بأنه على مدار السنوات الماضية قام المكتب بتمويل المصانع من اجل توفير للطاقة بقيمة 130 مليون جنيه.

اضاف أن المكتب اهتم بتحسين الوضع البيئي في المصانع منذ نشأته منذ 20 عام حيث تم تمويل 780 مشروع بقيمة 480 مليون جنيه وحقق العديد من الانجازات الملموسة على ارض الواقع من خلال مشروعات ذات عائد بيني واقتصادي واجتماعي تم تنفيذها بالمنشآت الصناعية. وأوضح الجبلي أن ذلك يأتي في إطار تقديم قروض ميسرة لتمويل معدات صناعية لتطبيق تكنولوجيات التوافق البيئي وترشيد الطاقة داخل المنشآت الصناعية بقيمة تصل الى 7 مليون جنيه تسدد على أقساط سنوية من سنة حتى خمس سنوات متضمنة سنة سماح ومصاريف إدارية 3.5% عن طريق البنك الأهلي المصري أو البنوك المشاركة. كما اشار الجبلي إلى أن الدول الأفريقية تعد أقل الدول المؤثرة في الانبعاثات الكربونية حيث لا تزيد عن 3% ولكن المشاكل والتحديات التى سنواجهها بسبب التغير المناخي عديدة، مشيرا أن قمة المناخ التي تستضيفها مصر في نوفمبر المقبل تعتبر فرصة لايجاد آلية للتمويل للتعامل مع التغيرات المناخية.

ناقشت الجلسة الأولى والتى كانت تحت عنوان " الصناعة المصرية وتحقيق معايير التوجه نحو الاقتصاد الأخضر" ، دور الدولة في تحديث الصناعة والحد من الانبعاثات الكربونية ودور مجتمع الأعمال واتحاد الصناعات المصرية ومكتب الالتزام البيئي والتنمية المستدامة في التعاون مع المصانع وأصحاب الأعمال للتوافق مع الشروط البيئية ، وما تقدمه الدولة من حوافز للمصانع الملتزمة بالاشتراطات البيئية. شارك فى الجلسة م. أسامة كمال وزير البترول الأسبق ،م. عبد السلام الجبلي رئيس لجنة الزراعة والري بمجلس الشيوخ ،الدكتور وليد درويش مستشار وزيرة التجارة والصناعة للشؤون البيئية ، الدكتور كمال الدسوقي عضو مجلس إدارة اتحاد الصناعات المصرية ، وادار الجلسة م. أحمد كمال المدير التنفيذى لمكتب الالتزام البيئي.

تناولت الجلسة الثانية تحت عنوان "التحول نحو وسائل النقل النظيف في مصر بين الواقع والتحديات" جهود الدولة لتغيير السيارات ووسائل النقل العامة للعمل بالغاز بدلا من البنزين والسولار وجهودها نحو النقل الجماعي النظيف لتقليل التلوث ، كما ناقشت الحوافز التي تقدمها الدولة للتحول للنقل النظيف و دور المؤسسات الدولية في دعم التوجه نحو النقل النظيف وتخفيض الانبعاثات. تحدث فى الجلسة المهندس السيد متولي الرئيس التنفيذي لجهاز تنظيم النقل الداخلى والدولى، الدكتور محمد بيومي نائب رئيس هيئة التعاون الإنمائي وادارها المهندس عادل طه خبير التنمية المستدامة بمكتب الالتزام البيئي والتنمية المستدامة.

القت جلسة "الطاقة المتجددة والحيوية ودورها فى تحقيق التنمية المستدامة" الضوء على أهمية الطاقة الحيوية فى تحقيق معايير الالتزام البيئى وامكانية نمو الطاقة المتجددة من طاقة الرياح والطاقة الشمسية والكهرومائية في مصر ودورها فى تحقيق التنمية المستدامة ومدى إمكانيات انتشار الطاقة الحيوية والبيو انرجي في مصر في المدن والريف وكيف يمكن مساعدة قطاع الطاقة الحيوية والمتجددة تمويليا وتنظيميا علي النمو. شارك فى الجلسة الدكتور مهندس ماجد عبد المنعم بسيونى رئيس قطاع البحوث والتطوير التكنولوجي بالهيئة القومية للإنتاج الحربى والمهندس أشرف نصير رئيس لجنة الطاقة بجمعية رجال أعمال الإسكندرية وادارت الجلسة المهندسة نها البلكي منسقة قطاع الطاقة المتجددة بمكتب الالتزام البيئي.

 

Environmental Compliance and Sustainable Development Office of the Federation of Egyptian Industries participated in the activities of the “Green Society… The Road to the New Republic” forum, under the title “The Way to the 27th Climate Summit and Achieving Sustainable Development in the New Republic,” headed by Dr. Sherif El-Gabaly, Chairman of the African Affairs Committee in the House of Representatives and Chairman of the House of Representatives   Environmental Compliance Office of the Federation of Egyptian Industries and under the auspices of the Ministry of Military Production, the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the Ministry of Environment, the General Authority for Investment and the Egyptian Stock Exchange, and in the presence of Mr.  Management of the Egyptian Stock Exchange, representatives of the Ministries of Military Production and Finance, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, and more than 300 CEOs from companies and stakeholders

 Dr. Sherif El-Gabaly, head of the Environmental Compliance Office at the Federation of Industries, said during the conference that the office is working to provide the necessary funding for factories to comply with environmental standards and controls, noting that over the past years, the office has funded factories in order to save energy at a value of 130 million pounds

 He added that the office has been concerned with improving the environmental situation in factories since its inception 20 years ago, as 780 projects were funded with a value of 480 million pounds and achieved many tangible achievements on the ground through projects with inter-related, economic and social returns that were implemented in industrial facilities.  Al-Gabali explained that this comes within the framework of providing soft loans to finance industrial equipment for the application of environmental compatibility technologies and energy conservation within industrial facilities, with a value of up to 7 million pounds, to be paid in annual installments from one to five years, including a grace year and 3.5 percent administrative expenses through the National Bank of Egypt 

  El-Gabaly also pointed out that African countries are the least influential in carbon emissions, as they do not exceed 3 percent, but the problems and challenges that we will face due to climate change are numerous, pointing out that the climate summit hosted by Egypt next November is an opportunity to find a financing mechanism to deal with climate change

 The first session, which was entitled "The Egyptian Industry and Achieving Standards of Orienting Towards a Green Economy", discussed the state's role in modernizing industry and reducing carbon emissions, the role of the business community, the Federation of Egyptian Industries and the Office of Environmental Compliance and Sustainable Development in cooperating with factories and business owners to comply with environmental conditions, and what

  The state provides incentives for factories that adhere to environmental requirements.  The session was attended by Eng. Osama Kamal, former Minister of Petroleum, Eng. Abdel Salam El-Gabaly, Chairman of the Senate’s Agriculture and Irrigation Committee, Dr. Walid Darwish, Advisor to the Minister of Trade and Industry for Environmental Affairs, Dr. Kamal El-Desouky, member of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Egyptian Industries, and the session was moderated by Eng. Ahmed Kamal, Executive Director of the Compliance Office  environmental

 The second session, entitled "Transformation towards clean transportation in Egypt between reality and challenges," dealt with the state's efforts to change cars and public transportation to work with gas instead of gasoline and diesel, and its efforts towards clean mass transportation to reduce pollution

 It also discussed the incentives provided by the state to transform clean transportation and the role of institutions.  International in support of the move towards clean transportation and reduced emissions.  The session was addressed by Eng. El-Sayed Metwally, CEO of the Internal and International Transport Regulatory Agency, Dr. Mohamed Bayoumi, Vice-President of the Development Cooperation Authority, and moderated by Eng. Adel Taha, a sustainable development expert in the Environmental Compliance and Sustainable Development Office

 The session “Renewable and Bioenergy and its Role in Achieving Sustainable Development” shed light on the importance of bioenergy in achieving environmental compliance standards and the possibility of growth of renewable energy from wind, solar and hydroelectric energy in Egypt, its role in achieving sustainable development, and the extent of the potential for the spread of bio and bioenergy in Egypt in cities  rural areas, and how the vital and renewable energy sector can be helped, financially and organizationally, to grow.  The session was attended by Dr. Eng. Maged Abdel Moneim Bassiouni, Head of the Technological Research and Development Sector at the National Military Production Authority, and Ashraf Nassir, Head of the Energy Committee of the Alexandria Businessmen Association, and the session was moderated by Eng. Neha El-Balki, Coordinator of the Renewable Energy Sector in the Environmental Compliance Office
