عدد من قيادات قطاع الكهرباء
قام Nasos Ktorides المدير
التنفيذى لشركة Euro Africa بتسليم الدراسة اللازمة لمشروع
الربط الكهربائى بين مصر وأوروبا من خلال قبرص طبقاً للجدول الزمنى المعد
لذلك . طلب د. شاكر بسرعة الانتهاء من تقييم الدراسة حتى يتم الانتهاء من
المناقشات مع الجانب القبرصى حتى يتسنى العرض على رئيس الجمهورية .
اشار خلال
الاجتماع إلى الأهمية التى يوليها القطاع لمشروعات الربط الكهربائى موحاً أن مصر
تشارك مصر بفاعلية في جميع مشروعات الربط الكهربائي الإقليمية حيث ترتبط مصر
كهربائياً مع دول الجوار شرقاً وغرباً مع كل من الأردن وليبيا ويتم حالياً إعداد
دراسة جدوى لزيادة سعة خط الربط الكهربائى مع الأردن لتصل إلى 2000-3000
ميجاوات بدلاً من 450 ميجاوات حالياً وذلك من خلال الربط على الجهد الفائق
المستمر HVDC.
كما يتم حالياً المضي قدماً في استكمال مشروع الربط الكهربائي المشترك بين مصر
والسعودية من خلال خطوط للربط الكهربائي بنظام التيار المستمر قدرة 3000 ميجاوات
على جهد ± 500 ك.ف والتى يعتبر نموذج مثالى لمشروعات الربط الكهربائى نظراً
لاختلاف ساعات الذورة بين الصباح والمساء فى البلدين والمتوقع بدء تشغيل المرحلة
الأولي من المشروع في عام 2021،
كما يتم
دراسة الربط الكهربائى جنوباً في اتجاه القارة الإفريقية للاستفادة من الإمكانيات
الهائلة للطاقة المائية في أفريقيا، من الجدير بالذكر أن الربط الكهربائى بين شمال
وجنوب المتوسط سوف يعمل على استيعاب الطاقات الضخمة التى سيتم توليدها من الطاقة
النظيفة ، بالإضافة إلى دراسات الربط مع السودان وأثيوبيا وسد إنجا بالكونغو
الجاري تحديثهم لمواكبة تطور الشبكات بتلك الدول .
كما أكد على
الإهتمام الذى يوليه قطاع الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة لمشروعات الربط الكهربائى حتى
تصبح مصر مركز إقليمى لتبادل الطاقة مع أوروبا والدول العربية والأفريقية. أشارLoannis Kasoulides رئيس

أضاف رئيس
شركة Euro Africa أن
هذا المشروع يتيح ربط كل من قبرص وجزيرة كريت بالإتحاد الأوروبى، فضلاً عن تحقيق
فوائد اقتصادية وسياسية للدول المعنية .أشار إلى
أهمية مد كابل كهربائى بحرى وما يحقققه من فوائد لخطة مصر الاستراتيجية من أجل
تحقيق التنمية الاقتصادية وتأمين الطاقة، كما أن هذا المشروع يعد أحد المشروعات
التى تساعد على ربط مصر بالشبكة الكهربائية الأوروبية.
أضاف أن
تنفيذ مشروع الربط يعزز الشراكة بين الدولتين فضلاً عن تحقيق مزايا لهم أخذاً فى
الإعتبار التطورات الأخيرة فى قطاع الطاقة وزيادة القدرات المتاحة وكذلك التوقعات
بزيادة الطلب على إنتاج الطاقة الكهربائية وفقاً للتنمية الحالية فى قطاع الطاقة ،
بالإضافة إلى توقع الحاجة المستقبلية إلى مشروع للربط الكهربائي بين مصر وقبرص
ومنها إلى اليونان ثم إلى باقى أوروبا وبهذا ستكون مصر ناقل هام للطاقة بالنسبة
للقارة الأوروبية.

Minister of
Electricity and Renewable Energy Dr. Mohamed Shaker, had a meeting with Mr. Loannis
Kasoulides, President of the Euro-Africa
Interconnector Strategic
Center, Kharis Moritzis, Ambassador of
Cyprus in Cairo,
and Nasos Ktorides, CEO of Euro Africa Interconnector, attended the meeting
number of leaders of the electricity sector.
Nasos Ktorides, Executive Director of Euro Africa, has delivered the required study for the electricity interconnection project between Egypt and Europe through Cyprus in accordance with the timetable set for this purpose.
Dr. Shaker, praised the efforts of Euro Africa in this regard, explaining that we have thus succeeded in laying the cornerstone for the start of the project linkage project, which will achieve the economic and political benefits of the countries concerned.
Dr. Shaker has requested quickly evaluation process of the study and discussions with the Cypriot side, so that the proposal could be submitted to the President of the Republic.
He pointed out during the meeting the importance attached by the sector to the projects of electric interconnection, pointing out that Egypt actively participates in all the regional electrical connection projects.
Nasos Ktorides, Executive Director of Euro Africa, has delivered the required study for the electricity interconnection project between Egypt and Europe through Cyprus in accordance with the timetable set for this purpose.

Egypt is electrically connected with the neighboring
countries in the east and west with both Jordan
and Libya.
A feasibility study is being prepared to increase the capacity of the electric
link line with Jordan.
To 2000-3000 megawatts instead of current 450 megawatts by connecting to HVDC.
The project is also underway to complete the project of joint electrical connection between Egypt and Saudi Arabia through the lines of the electrical connection of the current system capacity of 3000 MW on the effort ± 500 KV, which is an ideal model of the projects of electric linkage due to the difference between the hours of morning and evening hours of the two countries and is expected to start Operation of the first phase of the project in 2021,
The electrical connection between the North and the South of the Mediterranean will also be used to absorb the huge energy generated from clean energy, as well as studies linking Sudan, Ethiopia and Sudan. Inga Congo is being updated to keep pace with the development of networks in these countries.
He also stressed the importance of the electricity and renewable energy sector to the electricity grid projects so that Egypt becomes a regional center for energy exchange with Europe, Arab and African countries.
Mr. Loannis Kasoulides, President of the Euro-Africa Interconnector Strategic Center, expressed the company's great interest in contributing to this historic leap to linkage
President of Euro Africa added that the project allows Cyprus and Crete to be linked to the European Union as well as economic and political benefits to the countries concerned.
He pointed out the importance of extending a national electrical cable and its benefits to Egypt's strategic plan for economic development and energy security, and this project is one of the projects that will help connect Egypt to the European electrical gride.
Added that the implementation of the linking project strengthens the partnership between the two countries as well as realizing their advantages taking into account, recent developments in the energy sector and increasing the available capacities as well as the expectations of increasing the demand for electricity production according to the current development in the energy sector. Egypt and Cyprus and then to Greece and then to the rest of Europe and thus Egypt will be an important carrier of energy for the European continent.
