يُعقد ملتقى الطاقة العربي الألماني التاسع في القاهرة يومي 24 و25 أكتوبر 2018م. حيث تقوم الغرفة بالتعاون مع شركةSiemens AG وبدعم من اتحاد الغرف العربية واتحاد الغرف التجارية المصرية بتنظيم الملتقى للمرة الأولى في مصر. يشهد الطلب على الطاقة الكهربائية في العالم العربي تزايدا كبيرا مما يتطلب ضخ استثمارات ضخمة في مجال تعزيز قدرة الدول العربية على توليد الكهرباء اذ تشير اخر التقديرات الى ان العالم العربي بحاجة الى توليد طاقة إضافية تبلغ نحو 227 ألف ميجاوات بحلول العام 2035م.

تعد التجربة المصرية في تطوير قطاع الكهرباء مثالية ونموذجا يحتذي في المنطقة العربية حيث قامت الحكومة المصرية بالتعاون مع شركة سيمنز، وشركة أوراسكوم للإنشاءات وشركة السويدي للكهرباء، بزيادة الطاقة الإنتاجية في مصر بنسبة 45 في المائة. وقد ساهمت التقنية الألمانية في تحقيق هذا التطور، كما تشارك شركة Siemens في تحسين توزيع الطاقة بكفاءة. ولهذا الغرض من المقرر استثمار أكثر من ملياري يورو في السنوات الثلاث المقبلة من أجل توسيع وتحديث شبكة التوزيع. قصة النجاح هذه تُقدم نموذجا للتعاون العربي الألماني وفي نفس الوقت تؤشر على نجاح عملية التنويع في مصادر الطاقة داخل سوق الطاقة.

في هذا المجال تستطيع الشركات الألمانية ان تقدم مساهمة مستدامة، اذ تتبع ألمانيا سياسة التحول في الطاقة التي تهدف الى حماية البيئة وتأمين امدادات الطاقة بطريقة اقتصادية حيث يتم الان توليد ما يقرب من ثلث الكهرباء في ألمانيا عبر مصادر الطاقة المتجددة وعبر كذلك استخدام تقنيات رقمنه نقل الطاقة والعدادات الذكية وأيضا دمج شبكات التوزيع من اجل تحقيق استهلاك أكثر فعالية للطاقة

من اجل تحقيق مزيد من الكفاءة في استهلاك الطاقة فان الطلب يتزايد بشكل أكثر مما مضى على التقنيات المتقدمة وعلى النماذج الجديدة من إدارة الاعمال بالإضافة الى خدمات تقديم الحلول المبتكرة ورفع مستوى التدريب والتعليم باعتبار ان هذه العناصر هي عناصر النجاح الازمة. ومع خبرتها والتكنولوجيا المتقدمة التي تمتلكها تستطيع الشركات الألمانية والعربية المساهمة بشكل مستدام وفعال في تحقيق هذا الهدف.

أصبح الملتقى منصة التواصل النموذجية للشركات العربية والألمانية في قطاع الطاقة. حيث يبحث الخبراء وصناع القرار ورجال الاعمال الاتجاهات والمشاريع وفرص التعاون المشترك. ومن المتوقع أن يحضر الملتقى أكثر من 300 ممثل للشركات العربية والألمانية البارزة في هذا المجال كما سيقوم المسؤولون رفيعي المستوى من جمهورية مصر العربية والدول العربية وألمانيا بتقديم معلومات مباشرة حول التطورات الجارية في قطاع الطاقة والكهرباء.

9th Arab-German Energy Forum will be held in Cairo on 24 and 25 

October 2018. In collaboration with Siemens AG and with the support of the Union of Arab Chambers and the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, the Chamber is organizing the Forum for the first time in the Arab Republic of Egypt. Demand for electricity in the Arab world is growing significantly, which requires huge investment in boosting the ability of Arab countries to generate electricity. The latest estimates indicate that the Arab world needs to generate additional capacity of about 227 thousand megawatts by 2035

Egyptian experience in the development of the electricity sector is an ideal model in the Arab region, where the Egyptian government, in cooperation with Siemens, Orascom Construction Company and El Sewedy Electricity Company, increased production capacity in Egypt by 45 per cent. German technology has contributed to this development, and Siemens is also involved in improving energy efficiency. For this purpose, more than 2 billion euros will be invested over the next three years to expand and modernize the distribution network. Success story provides a model for Arab-German cooperation and at the same time points to the success of diversification in energy sources within the energy market

In this regard, German companies can make a sustainable contribution. Germany follows a policy of energy transformation aimed at protecting the environment and securing energy supplies in an economic way. Nearly one-third of Germany's electricity is now generated through renewable energy sources, Smart meters and also integrate distribution grids to achieve more efficient energy consumption

In order to achieve more efficient energy consumption, demand is growing more than ever before on advanced technologies and new models of business management as well as services to provide innovative solutions and raise the level of training and education as these required elements of the success. With its expertise and advanced technology, German and Arab companies can contribute in a sustainable and effective manner to this goal

Forum has become the ideal platform for the Arab and German companies in the energy sector. Where experts, decision-makers and entrepreneurs are looking at trends, projects and opportunities for joint cooperation. More than 300 representatives of leading Arab and German companies are expected to attend the forum, and senior officials from Egypt, Arab countries and Germany will provide direct information on developments in the energy and electricity sector
