المتجددة فى التحضير لمؤتمر الأطراف COP27

والوكالة مؤكداً عن ضرورة زيادة حجم التعاون مع الوكالة فى مختلف مجالات الطاقات
المتجددة
أكد د.
شاكر على الإهتمام الذى يوليه القطاع لنشر إستخدامات الطاقات المتجددة مشيراً خلال
اللقاء إلى خطة القطاع الطموحة لزيادة نسبة الطاقات المتجددة فى مزيج الطاقة
إلى 42% بحلول عام 2035 ومن المتوقع ان تصل القدرات المركبة من الطاقات المتجددة
إلى حوالى 10 آلاف ميجاوات فى عام 2023

العلاقات وتقويتها ومؤكداً على استعداده لتقديم كافة سبل الدعم وتعزيز التعاون مع
مصر فى مؤتمر الأطراف COP27 واحياء كافة المبادرات التى تهتم بالطاقات
المتجددة اعرب
عن رغبته فى التعاون مع قطاع الكهرباء فى مجال الهيدروجين الاخضر الذى يحظى أيضًا
باهتمام عالمى كبير باعتباره مصدرًا واعدًا للطاقة النظيفة فى المستقبل القريب،

الوزير الي أنه هناك تعاون مع شركات عالمية للبدء فى المناقشات والدراسات لتنفيذ
مشروعات تجريبية لانتاج الهيدروجين الاخضر في مصر كخطوة اولى نحو التوسع في هذا
المجال وصولا الى امكانية التصدير باعتبارها من كبرى الشركات العالمية ذات الخبرات
الكبيرة في مجال الطاقة النظيفة على مستوى العالم ، مؤكداً على إستعداد
القطاع للتعاون مع مختلف الأطراف فى هذا المجال

على الجهود التى تقوم بها مصر تكون ممر لعبور الطاقة النظيفة التى تتمتع بها
القارة الأفريقية، وتحرص مصر على دعم جهود الدول الأفريقية للنفاذ للطاقة النظيفة
من المصادر المتجددة

الوزير إلى مشروع الضخ والتخزين الجاري استكمال إجراءات إنشائه بجبل عتاقة بإجمالي
قدرات تصل إلى حوالى 2400 ميجاوات

Dr. Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy,
had a meeting with Dr. Ahmed Badr, Director of Project Financing Facility at
the International Renewable Energy Agency, IRENA, and his accompanying
delegation, to discuss ways to obtain support International Renewable
Energy Agency in preparing process for the COP27 Conference of Parties
Dr. Shaker praised the fruitful and constructive
cooperation that exists between the electricity sector and renewable energy and
the Agency, stressing the need to increase the volume of cooperation with the
Agency in the various fields of renewable energies
Dr. Shaker confirmed the sector’s interest in spreading the use of
renewable energies, referring during the meeting to the sector’s ambitious plan
to increase the proportion of renewable energies in the energy mix to 42
percent by 2035, and it is expected that the installed capacity of renewable
energies will reach about 10,000 megawatts in 2023
Dr. Ahmed Badr, Director of Facilitating Projects Financing
at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) praised in the
distinguished relations between Egypt and the agency, expressing his desire to
support and strengthen these relations, stressing his readiness to provide all
means of support and enhance cooperation with Egypt at the COP27 Conference of
Parties and to revive all initiatives concerned with renewable energies
He expressed his desire to cooperate with the electricity sector
in the field of green hydrogen, which is also receiving great global attention
as a promising source of clean energy in the near future
The minister indicated that there is cooperation with
international companies to start discussions and studies to implement pilot
projects for the production of green hydrogen in Egypt as a first step towards
expanding in this field, leading to the possibility of exporting as one of the
largest international companies with great expertise in the field of clean
energy in the world, stressing that The sector's readiness to cooperate with
various parties in this field
He stressed the efforts made by Egypt to be a corridor for the
transit of clean energy enjoyed by the African continent; Egypt is keen to
support the efforts of African countries to access clean energy from renewable
sources
Minister referred to the pumping and storage project, whose
construction procedures are being completed in Mount Ataka, with a total
capacity of about 2,400 megawatts
From his part, Dr. Ahmed Badr Director of Project
Financing Facility at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA)
expressed his keenness to organize a number of events before COP 27 in
cooperation with the Egyptian government
