حضرد. محمد شاكر وزير الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة صباح اليوم لقاء مع مسئولي الغرفة التجارية الامريكية ووفد من رجال الاعمال الامريكين بدعوة من غرفة التجارة الامريكية وحضر ايضا اللقاء وفد كبير يضم عدد من الشركات الامريكية العاملة فى مجال الطاقة بشأن التعرف على التجربة المصرية والإجراءات التى اتخذها قطاع الكهرباء المصرى فى مجال خفض الإنبعاثات، فى إطار الإعداد لمؤتمر الأطراف COP27 المقرر عقده فى نوفمبر 2022 بمدينة شرم الشيخ ، وبحث سبل دعم وتعزيز التعاون مع قطاع الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة المصرى و زيادة فرص الاستثمار على أرض مصر.
واشار شاكر الخطوات ناجحة الذى إتخذها قطاع الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة المصري حيث نجح القطاع بالتعاون مع شركة سيمنس الألمانية وشركائها المحليين فى تنفيذ ثلاثة محطات من المحطات العملاقة لتوليد الكهرباء فى كل من بنى سويف ، البرلس ، والعاصمة الإدارية الجديدة لإضافة 14400 ميجاوات ، وذلك باستخدام أحدث تكنولوجيا عالمية في هذا المجال بكفاءة تصل إلى أكثر من 60% لخفض استهلاك الوقود وتقليل الانبعاثات ،
أوضح شاكر أن القطاع نجح فى إضافة قدرات كهربائية إلى الشبكة الكهربائية الموحدة بلغت أكثر من 28 ألف ميجاوات ، وبهذا أصبحت قدرات التوليد الكهربائية المتاحة كافية للوفاء بمتطلبات المستثمرين فى سائر أنحاء الجمهورية من الطاقة الكهربائية.
واشار إلى استراتيجية الدولة التى تهدف لزيادة مساهمة نسبة الطاقة المتجددة في مزيج الطاقة الكهربائية ، والإهتمام الذى يوليه قطاع الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة لتنويع مصادر إنتاج الطاقة الكهربائية والاستفادة من ثروات مصر الطبيعية وبخاصة مصادر الطاقة الجديدة والمتجددة، والتى تستهدف الوصول بنسبة مساهمة الطاقة المتجددة في مزيج الطاقة في مصر إلى 42٪ بحلول عام 2035.
موضحاً أن أطلس الرياح يشير إلى أن مصر تمتلك أكبر قدرات الكهربائية في الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا.
أشار إلى الإهتمام الذى يوليه القطاع للطاقات المتجددة من خلال خطة طموحة تستهدف زيادة نسبة مشاركة الطاقات المتجددة لتصل إلى حوالى 10 آلاف ميجاوات فى عام 2023.
أضاف أن القطاع قد قام بإتخاذ عدد من الإجراءات الهامة للإستفادة من الإمكانيات الهائلة من الطاقة المتجددة وفقاً لعدد من الآليات لتشجيع مشاركة القطاع الخاص فى مشروعاته
واشار الوزير الي أنه هناك تعاون مع شركات عالمية للبدء فى المناقشات والدراسات لتنفيذ مشروعات تجريبية لانتاج الهيدروجين الاخضر في مصر كخطوة اولى نحو التوسع في هذا المجال وصولا الى امكانية التصدير باعتبارها من كبرى الشركات العالمية ذات الخبرات الكبيرة في مجال الطاقة النظيفة على مستوى العالم ، مؤكداً على إستعداد القطاع للتعاون مع مختلف الأطراف فى هذا المجال
وأكد شاكر أن الهيدروجين الأخضر يحظى أيضًا باهتمام كبير باعتباره مصدرًا واعدًا للطاقة فى المستقبل القريب، حيث تعمل حالياً لجنة وزارية على المستوى الوطني لدراسة الهيدروجين كمصدر للطاقة في المستقبل القريب في مصر والبحث في جميع البدائل الممكنة لتوليد واستخدام الهيدروجين مع الأخذ في الاعتبار التجارب الدولية في هذا المجال
اشار إلى انه تم توقيع مذكرة تفاهم مع البنك الأوروبي لإعادة الإعمار والتنمية بشأن توجه مصر نحو إنتاج الهيدروجين الأخضر من خلال تمويل الأعمال الاستشارية لإعداد الاستراتيجية الوطنية للهيدروجين حيث سيتم تحديث استراتيجية الطاقة 2035 لتشمل الهيدروجين الأخضر كمصدر للطاقة.
أكد على الجهود التى تقوم بها مصر تكون ممر لعبور الطاقة النظيفة التى تتمتع بها القارة الأفريقية، وتحرص مصر على دعم جهود الدول الأفريقية للنفاذ للطاقة النظيفة من المصادر المتجددة.
اكد على الإهتمام الذى توليه الحكومة المصرية لتعظيم الإستفادة من الطاقات المتجددة فى تحلية المياه حيث تم إعداد خطة استراتيجية لتحلية المياه من مصادر الطاقة المتجددة بالتعاون بين وزارة الإسكان ووزارة الموارد المائية ، حيث تم تحديد الأرض المطلوبة مع خطة مدتها 5 سنوات بهدف إنتاج حوالي 3 مليون م 3 / يوم.
أكد على إهتمام وزارة الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة بالربط الكهربائى مع دول الجوار مشيراً إلى الربط القائم مع كل من الأردن وليبيا والسودان بالإضافة إلى مشروعات الربط مع السعودية وقبرص واليونان حتى تصبح مصر مركز إقليمى لتبادل الطاقة مع أوروبا والدول العربية والأفريقية.
أكد أن قطاع الكهرباء يعمل حاليًا على تحسين وتطوير شبكتى النقل والتوزيع ، بما في ذلك محطات المحولات ذات الجهد الفائق ومراكز التحكم ، بالإضافة إلى الشبكات الذكية
واهتمام الدولة المصرية بالاليات المختلفة للتخلص من المخلفات وخاصة مشروعات انتاج الطاقة الكهربائية منها.
أشاد وفد رجال الاعمال الامريكيين بما يمتلكه قطاع الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة المصرى من خبرات كبیرة فى كافة المجالات وأكدوا عن رغبتهم فى زيادة حجم التعاون فى العديد من المجالات وخاصة الطاقات المتجددة والهيدروجين الأخضر حتى نصل إلى صفر إنبعاثات .
كما أشادوا بكافة الجهود التي قام بها قطاع الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة المصرى بما وما حققته مصر في مجال مكافحة التغير المناخي حيث أصبحت دولة رائدة في المنطقة مما يشجع على نقل تلك الخبرات إلى الدول الأخرى بالمنطقة، كما أكدوا على أهمية استمرار التعاون وتبادل الرؤى خلال الفترة المقبلة استعدادا لتنظيم مصر لفعاليات مؤتمر الأطراف COP 27 فى مجالات الطاقات المتجددة ، تحسين كفاءة الطاقة والبحوث والدراسات
وفي نهاية اللقاء اكد الوزير علي الاستعداد الكامل لفتح التعاون مع الشركات الامريكية في مجالات الاستثمار المختلفة.

Dr. Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, attended this morning a meeting with officials of the American Chamber of Commerce and a delegation of American businessmen at the invitation of the American Chamber of Commerce. The Egyptian side in the field of emissions reduction, within the framework of preparation for the Conference of Parties COP27 to be held in November 2022 in Sharm El-Sheikh, and to discuss ways to support and enhance cooperation with the Egyptian electricity and renewable energy sector and increase investment opportunities on the land of Egypt.
Shaker pointed out the successful steps taken by the Egyptian electricity and renewable energy sector, as the sector, in cooperation with the German company Siemens and its local partners, succeeded in implementing three of the giant power stations in Beni Suef, Borollos, and the new administrative capital to add 14,400 megawatts, using the latest global technology. In this field, with an efficiency of more than 60 percent to reduce fuel consumption and reduce emissions,
Shaker explained that the sector succeeded in adding electric capacities to the unified electric network, amounting to more than 28 thousand megawatts, and thus the available electric generation capabilities became sufficient to meet the requirements of investors in all parts of the Republic of electric power.
He referred to the state's strategy, which aims to increase the contribution of renewable energy in the electrical energy mix, and the attention given by the electricity and renewable energy sector to diversifying sources of electrical energy production and benefiting from Egypt's natural wealth, especially new and renewable energy sources, which aims to reach the percentage of renewable energy's contribution to the energy mix in Egypt to 42% by 2035.
He explained that the wind atlas indicates that Egypt has the largest electrical capabilities in the Middle East and North Africa.
He also referred to the sector's interest in renewable energies through an ambitious plan aimed at increasing the share of renewable energies to reach about 10,000 megawatts in 2023.
He added that the sector has taken a number of important measures to benefit from the huge potential of renewable energy, according to a number of mechanisms to encourage the participation of the private sector in its projects.
The minister indicated that there is cooperation with international companies to start discussions and studies to implement pilot projects for the production of green hydrogen in Egypt as a first step towards expanding in this field, leading to the possibility of exporting as one of the largest international companies with great expertise in the field of clean energy in the world, stressing that The sector's readiness to cooperate with various parties in this field
Shaker stressed that green hydrogen is also receiving great attention as a promising source of energy in the near future, as a ministerial committee is currently working at the national level to study hydrogen as a source of energy in the near future in Egypt and research all possible alternatives for the generation and use of hydrogen, taking into account international experiences in this the field
He pointed out that a memorandum of understanding was signed with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development regarding Egypt's orientation towards green hydrogen production by financing advisory work for the preparation of the national hydrogen strategy, as the Energy Strategy 2035 will be updated to include green hydrogen as an energy source.
He stressed the efforts made by Egypt to be a corridor for the transit of clean energy enjoyed by the African continent, and Egypt is keen to support the efforts of African countries to access clean energy from renewable sources.
He also stressed the interest of the Egyptian government in maximizing the use of renewable energies in water desalination, as a strategic plan for desalination from renewable energy sources was prepared in cooperation between the Ministry of Housing and the Ministry of Water Resources, where the required land was identified with a 5-year plan with the aim of producing about 3 million m 3 / day.
He stressed the interest of the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy in electrical interconnection with neighboring countries, referring to the existing linkage with Jordan, Libya and Sudan, in addition to the linkage projects with Saudi Arabia, Cyprus and Greece so that Egypt becomes a regional center for energy exchange with Europe and Arab and African countries.
He stressed that the electricity sector is currently working on improving and developing the transmission and distribution networks, including high-voltage transformer stations and control centers, in addition to smart grids.
The minister stressed the Egyptian state's interest in the various mechanisms for the disposal of waste, especially projects for the production of electric power from it.
The delegation of American businessmen praised the great expertise that the Egyptian electricity and renewable energy sector possesses in all fields
They affirmed their desire to increase the volume of cooperation in many fields, especially renewable energies and green hydrogen, until we reach zero emissions.
They also praised all the efforts made by the Egyptian electricity and renewable energy sector, including what Egypt has achieved in the field of combating climate change, as it has become a leading country in the region, which encourages the transfer of those experiences to other countries in the region. They also stressed the importance of continuing cooperation and exchanging visions during the coming period in preparation for To organize Egypt for the activities of the Conference of the Parties COP 27 in the fields of renewable energies, improving energy efficiency, research and studies
At the end of the meeting, the minister affirmed his complete readiness to open cooperation with American companies in various fields of investment.
