أطلقت الشبكة المصرية للبيئة والمناخ مبادرتها الأهم للنشء واليافعين للمشاركة في دعم الجهود المصرية لتنظيم قمة الأمم المتحدة للمناخ cop27 ، وحملت المبادرة إسم "أطفال من أجل المناخ ".
قال عبدالجواد أبوكب مؤسس الشبكة المصرية للبيئة والمناخ "أطفال من أجل المناخ "ستضم نخبة من نوابغ الأطفال أصحاب الجهد والمعرفة في مجال البيئة والمناخ وسيلعبون دورًا مهما في الترويج لقمة المناخ وتعريف أقرانهم بهم وبالمخاطر الناتجة عن تغيرات المناخ وجهودهم الممكنة للمساهمة في التصدي لهذه الأخطار التي تهدد مستقبل الكوكب".
أضاف أن هناك عدد من الفعاليات والأنشطة المهمة ستنطلق بداية من اليوم تشرف عليها مجموعة من الخبراء والرموز في العمل البيئي والمناخ والمتخصصين في التعامل مع قطاع الطفولة والأمومة، تضم د. عندليب فهمي رئيس لجنة الطفل بالشبكة والأعضاء د.ياسمين الشرقاوى مدير المشروعات الاستراتيجية للتنمية البشرية والتحول الرقمى والتنمية المستدامة والمناخ بوزارة الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات، تضم اللجنه عددا من الأسماء البارزة من الكوادر العلميه والعاملين بمجال الطفولة و المرأة والبيئة، من بينهم م. أحمد المنياوي خبير الطاقات المتجددة ، د.سلمي الغيطاني المساعد التنفيذي لمدير مركز كمال أدهم للصحافة التليفزيونية والرقمية ، دولت أحمد مدير الموارد البشريه بالمجلس القومي للمرأة ، د.هبة الشاهد أستاذ مساعد الصحافة والإعلام بالجامعة الأمريكيه ، ريهام حلمي المدير التنفيذي لشركة انفيرو ، د. لبني خيري رئيس مجلس دارة شركة ال كيه هب، د.إنجي أبوالعز مدرس الإعلام بجامعة بني سويف والمدرب الدولي، د. عادل كريم أحد رواد العمل الاهلي و الرياضي في مصر، فاطمة عادل الاستشاري البيئي ومي عباس مدير آرت أند تالنت زون للفنون.

Egyptian Network for Environment and Climate launched its most important initiative for young people to participate in supporting the Egyptian efforts to organize United Nations Climate Summit Cop27, and the initiative was called : Children for Climate
Mr. Abdel-Gawad Abou kab, founder of the Egyptian Network for Environment and Climate, said that "Children for Climate" will include a group of brilliant children with effort and knowledge in the field of environment and climate, and they will play an important role in promoting the Climate Summit and introducing them to their peers and the risks resulting from climate change and their possible efforts to contribute to addressing these dangers that threaten the future of the planet".
Added that there are a number of important events and activities that will be launched starting today, supervised by a group of experts and symbols in environmental and climate work and specialists in dealing with the childhood and motherhood sector, including Dr. Andalib Fahmy, head of the children's committee in the network and members are Dr. Yasmine El Sharkawy, Sustainable Development and Climate at Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
The committee includes a number of prominent names of scientific cadres and workers in the field of childhood, women and the environment, including Eng. Ahmed El Miniawy, an expert in renewable energies, Dr. Salma El Ghaitani, Executive Assistant to the Director of the Kamal Adham Center for Television and Digital Journalism, Dawlat Ahmed, Director Human Resources at the National Council for Women, Dr. Heba Al-Shahed, Assistant Professor of Journalism and Media at the American University, Reham Helmy, Executive Director of Enviro, Dr. Lubna Khairy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of LK Hub, Dr. Engy Abu El-Ezz, Media teacher at Beni Suef University and International Trainer, Dr. Adel Karim, one of the pioneers of civil and sports work in Egypt, Fatima Adel, environmental consultant, and May Abbas, director of the Art and Talent Zone.
