وقعت مصر مذكرة تفاهم مع شركة “سكاتك إيه إس إيه” النرويجية، لبدء دراسات مشروع الربط الكهربائي بغرض تصدير الطاقة المتجددة إلى أوروبا عبر إيطاليا.
تتضمن المذكرة بدء الدراسات تمهيداً لتنفيذ مشروع تصدير الطاقة المتجددة إلى أوروبا عبر إيطاليا باستخدام خط ربط بحري بقدرة لا تقل عن 3 جيجاوات، بحسب بيان صحفي اليوم.
بموجب مذكرة التفاهم، تحصل شركة “سكاتك” على موافقة مشغل الشبكة الإيطالي، وتعين استشاري دولي متخصص في مشروعات الربط الكهربائي المثيلة للمشروع، على أن يكون جزء من نطاق عمل الاستشاري تحديد مصادر الطاقات المتجددة التي سوف يتم استخدامها لتصدير الطاقة.
عقب الانتهاء من دراسات المشروع، واعتماد الشركة المصرية لنقل الكهرباء لها، سوف يتم البدء في مناقشة والاتفاق على خطوات تنفيذ المشروع بهدف تصدير الطاقة المتجددة إلى أوروبا عبر إيطاليا بالتنسيق مع مشغل شبكة النقل في إيطاليا.
ستقود شركة سكاتك النرويجية لاحقا أنشطة تطوير المشروع وستكون مسؤولة بشكل أساسي عن الحصول على تمويل المشروع بأسعار تنافسية من مؤسسات تمويل دولية مع فترة سداد طويلة الأجل، على أن يتم ذلك بالاتفاق بين الجانبين المصري والإيطالي.
Egypt signed a memorandum of understanding with the Norwegian company, Scatec ASA, to start studies of the electrical interconnection project for the purpose of exporting renewable energy to Europe via Italy
The memorandum includes the commencement of studies in preparation for the implementation of a project to export renewable energy to Europe via Italy, using a marine interconnection line with a capacity of not less than 3 gigawatts, according to a press release today
According to the memorandum of understanding, Scatec obtains the approval of the Italian network operator, and appoints an international consultant specialized in electrical interconnection projects similar to the project, provided that part of the scope of the consultant's work is to identify renewable energy sources that will be used for energy export
After the completion of the project studies, and the approval of the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company, a discussion and agreement will begin on the steps to implement the project with the aim of exporting renewable energy to Europe via Italy, in coordination with the transmission network operator in Italy
The Norwegian company Scatec will later lead the project development activities and will be primarily responsible for obtaining project financing at competitive rates from international financing institutions with a long-term repayment period, provided that this is done by agreement between the Egyptian and Italian sides
