شهد اليوم د. مصطفى مدبولي، رئيس مجلس الوزراء، بمقر الحكومة بمدينة العلمين الجديدة، مراسم توقيع اتفاقيتي مشروع إنشاء محطة إنتاج الكهرباء من طاقة الرياح بقدرة 200 ميجاوات بمنطقة خليج السويس، بين كل من الشركة المصرية لنقل الكهرباء وهيئة الطاقة الجديدة والمتجددة، وتحالف شركات (مصدر – انفينيتي)، بحضور م. محمود عصمت، وزير الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة، والدكتور سلطان الجابر، وزير الصناعة والتكنولوجيا المتقدمة بدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة.
يأتي التوقيع في إطار استراتيجية الدولة لتعظيم دور الطاقات الجديدة والمتجددة فى مزيج الطاقة، ودعم القطاع الخاص والاعتماد عليه في إقامة محطات التوليد من طاقة الشمس والرياح. وقع الاتفاقيتين؛ د.محمد الخياط، رئيس هيئة الطاقة الجديدة والمتجددة، وم. صلاح عزت، رئيس الشركة المصرية لنقل الكهرباء، وم. ناير فؤاد، الرئيس التنفيذي والعضو المنتدب لشركة "إنفينيتي باور"، والسيد. محمد جميل الرمحي، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة "مصدر" الإماراتية. بحضور محمد منصور رئيس مجلس إدارة انفينتى للطاقة وهشام الجمل المدير العام لانفينتى للطاقة.
بموجب الاتفاقيتين، سيقوم التحالف بتطوير وتمويل وتشغيل المشروع الذي من المتوقع أن يبدأ التشغيل التجاري له في أكتوبر 2026.
سيسهم المشروع في زيادة مشاركة الطاقة المتجددة في مزيج الطاقة الكهربائية، وتعزيز جهود الدولة لتحقيق مستهدفاتها في مجال الطاقة المتجددة.
وعقب مراسم التوقيع، أكد د.مصطفى مدبولي، رئيس مجلس الوزراء، أن هذا التوقيع يأتى في إطار الحرص على تنفيذ المزيد من المشروعات المستهدفة في مجال الطاقة المتجددة، ضمن خطة الدولة للتوسع في توليد الكهرباء من هذه المصادر المستدامة، وتقليل الاعتماد على المصادر التقليدية للطاقة، مشيراً في الوقت نفسه أن هناك اقتناعاً تاماً بأن مستقبل الطاقة في مصر يكمُن في ملف الطاقة الجديدة والمتجددة، ومن هنا تأتي أهمية بحث سبل إدخال أكبر قدر ممكن من الطاقة الجديدة والمتجددة على الشبكة الكهربائية.
من جانبه، أضاف وزير الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة أن هذا المشروع يأتي ضمن خطة الحكومة لتطوير قطاع الطاقة المتجددة لتعظيم العوائد والاستفادة من الموارد الطبيعية المتاحة، وخفض استخدام الوقود الأحفوري، وبالتالي تقليل الانبعاثات الكربونية، فضلاً عن مساهمة المشروع في إتاحة العديد من فرص العمل المباشرة وغير المباشرة خلال فترات الإنشاء والتشغيل.
قال أيضا : نحن سعداء بالتعاون مع شركة مصدر الإماراتية الرائدة في مجال الطاقة المتجددة لتنفيذ هذا المشروع المهم، مضيفاً أن الدولة تبنت برنامجاً طموحاً للنهوض بقطاع الكهرباء في شتى المجالات، وعلى رأسها تعظيم استغلال موارد الطاقة الجديدة والمتجددة، ودعم وتشجيع الاستثمار في هذا المجال.
أوضح الوزير أن المشروع يؤكد قدرة الطاقة المتجددة في مصر على جذب الاستثمارات الأجنبية المباشرة، مشيراً في الوقت نفسه إلى دور المؤسسات الوطنية المصرية في ايجاد مناخٍ استثماري يتمتع بمخاطر منخفضة وتفاعل إيجابي مع مؤسسات التمويل وشركاء التنمية.
من ناحية أخرى أكد محمد منصور رئيس شركة انفينتى للطاقة بأن تحالف انفينتى - مصدر يعمل على دعم توجه الحكومة المصرية نحو إنتاج الكهرباء من الطاقة المتجددة من عدة مشروعات فى مجال الطاقة الشمسية وطاقة الرياح .
من ناحية أخرى أضاف هشام الجمل المدير العام لانفينتى للطاقة بأن مشروعات الطاقة الجديدة والمتجددة نجحت فى اجتذاب الاستثمارات الأجنبية الضخمة فى مصر بفضل تشجيع الدولة المصرية لهذا التوجه بالإضافة إلى توفير الآلاف من فرص العمل علاوة على تخفيض الانبعاثات الكربونية الناتجة عن المحطات التقليدية.

The signing comes within the framework of the state’s strategy to maximize the role of new and renewable energies in the energy mix, and to support and rely on the private sector in establishing generation plants from solar and wind energy.
He signed the two agreements; Dr. Mohamed Al-Khayyat, Chairman of the New and Renewable Energy Authority, Eng. Salah Ezzat, President of the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company, Eng. Nair Fouad, CEO and Managing Director of Infinity Power, and Mr. Mohamed Jamil Al-Ramahi, CEO of the Emirati “Masdar” Company.
This was in the presence of Mohamed Mansour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Infinity Energy, and Hisham El Gamal, General Manager of Infinity Energy.
Under the two agreements, the alliance will develop, finance and operate the project, which is expected to begin commercial operation in October 2026. This project will contribute to increasing the participation of renewable energy in the electrical energy mix and enhancing the country’s efforts to achieve its goals in the field of renewable energy.
Following the signing ceremony, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, confirmed that this signing comes within the framework of the keenness to implement more targeted projects in the field of renewable energy, as part of the state’s plan to expand the generation of electricity from these sustainable sources, and reduce dependence on traditional sources of energy. Pointing out at the same time that there is a complete conviction that the future of energy in Egypt lies in the new and renewable energy file, and from here comes the importance of examining ways to introduce the largest possible amount of new and renewable energy into the electrical network.
For his part, the Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy added that this project comes within the government’s plan to develop the renewable energy sector to maximize returns and benefit from available natural resources, reduce the use of fossil fuels, and thus reduce carbon emissions, in addition to the project’s contribution to providing many direct and indirect job opportunities. During the construction and operation periods, he said: We are happy to cooperate with the leading UAE company, Masdar, in the field of renewable energy to implement this important project, adding that the state has adopted an ambitious program to advance the electricity sector in various fields, most notably maximizing the exploitation of new and renewable energy resources, and supporting and encouraging investment in This field.
The Minister explained that this project confirms the ability of renewable energy in Egypt to attract foreign direct investments, pointing at the same time to the role of Egyptian national institutions in creating an investment climate that enjoys low risks and positive interaction with financing institutions and development partners. On the other hand, Mohamed Mansour, Chairman of the Company, stressed Infinity Energy said that the Infinity-Masdar alliance is working to support the Egyptian government’s move towards producing electricity from renewable energy through several projects in the field of solar and wind energy.
On the other hand, Hisham El Gamal, General Manager of Infinity Energy, added that new and renewable energy projects have succeeded in attracting foreign investments. huge projects in Egypt thanks to the Egyptian state’s encouragement of this trend, in addition to providing thousands of job opportunities in addition to reducing carbon emissions resulting from traditional stations.
