Rimini, 7 novembre 2025 – In un contesto mondiale sempre più volatile, la sostenibilità rappresenta la bussola di orientamento per governi, imprese e comunità scientifica. Ecomondo 2025, evento internazionale di riferimento in Europa e nel bacino del Mediterraneo per la green, blue and circular economy, organizzato da Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), si chiude oggi alla Fiera di Rimini riaffermandosi hub globale per la transizione ecologica. Un ruolo che si traduce nei risultati concreti di una 28a edizione in crescita.
Le presenze
totali sono cresciute del 7%, con un +10% di quelle estere. Oltre 1.700
i brand espositori, di cui il 18% dall’estero, sui 166.000 mq di
superficie del quartiere fieristico. Più di 600 i giornalisti
accreditati (per il 15% esteri), che hanno portato la Fiera di Rimini
all’attenzione della comunità mondiale.
A rimarcare
la centralità di Ecomondo nel panorama internazionale, come guida di un
percorso verso il futuro sostenibile che parte dall’Italia e che l’Europa sta
continuando a perseguire con decisione, la presenza, giovedì 6
novembre, del ministro dell’ambiente e della sicurezza energetica Gilberto
Pichetto Fratin, in visita nei padiglioni della Fiera. “Possiamo dirci tra
i primi Paesi al mondo nella capacità di riciclo – ha spiegato il ministro - si
parla tanto di terre rare e materie prime critiche ma il più grande giacimento
che abbiamo sono i nostri rifiuti… E la capacità di riciclo si manifesta
pienamente proprio in questa fiera, simbolo di innovazione e sostenibilità”.
ECOMONDO
2025, L'EDIZIONE PIÙ INTERNAZIONALE DI SEMPRE
Ecomondo 2025 si è
confermato luogo privilegiato di scambio tra aziende, ricerca e professionisti
del settore di tutto il mondo, anche grazie alla collaborazione con Agenzia
ICE e con il Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della
Cooperazione Internazionale (MAECI): un crocevia globale, con oltre 800
hosted buyer e delegazioni internazionali provenienti da 65
Paesi. Tra i mercati più rappresentati: Spagna, Turchia, Polonia, Romania,
Serbia, Croazia, Bulgaria, Tunisia, Marocco ed Egitto. A completare il
quadro, circa 90 associazioni internazionali coinvolte. Un
network che, durante la manifestazione, ha generato 3.800 business
matching, favorendo la cooperazione e la diffusione delle best practices
per la transizione ecologica.
TRANSIZIONE
GREEN, UN QUADRO TRASVERSALE SUL CONTESTO GLOBALE
Oltre 200
appuntamenti nelle quattro giornate, di cui circa 70
curati dal Comitato Tecnico Scientifico di Ecomondo,
presieduto dal professor Fabio Fava, hanno composto un programma denso di
iniziative, offrendo una lettura aggiornata della transizione green in modo
trasversale. Tra i temi principali: i RAEE e le materie prime critiche, il tessile
che diventa circolare, la finanza sostenibile a supporto
della transizione ecologica, la gestione dell’acqua e la blue economy, bioenergie, economia
circolare, AI applicata alla valorizzazione delle risorse e al monitoraggio dei
dati, l’osservazione della Terra e il ruolo della comunicazione per superare i
falsi dilemmi della transizione ecologica.
Grande attenzione
alla cooperazione internazionale e alla transizione verde nel Mediterraneo,
nonché alle iniziative per l’accesso all’energia pulita e sostenibile
nel continente africano, nell’ambito del Piano Mattei e del Programma “Mission
300”, con la quinta edizione dell’Africa Green Growth Forum.
La 14ª edizione degli
Stati Generali della Green Economy ha aperto ancora una volta Ecomondo, con la presentazione della Relazione
sullo stato della green economy 2025, ponendo al centro del dibattito lo
stato e le prospettive della transizione ecologica europea nel nuovo contesto
globale. La sessione plenaria della seconda giornata, per la prima volta
interamente in lingua inglese, ha ampliato ulteriormente la portata
internazionale dell’evento.
Il ritorno
di Sal.Ve, il Salone biennale del Veicolo per l’Ecologia, in
collaborazione con ANFIA, ha portato in mostra l’intera
gamma della produzione di allestimenti per veicoli industriali e speciali per
la raccolta dei rifiuti solidi e liquidi, per lo spazzamento stradale e per gli
spurghi.
IL
LABORATORIO DELL’INNOVAZIONE
A Ecomondo 2025
l’innovazione ha fatto da ponte tra scienza e mercato: l’Innovation District ha
dato spazio e visibilità a 40 startup italiane e internazionali dall’alto
contenuto tecnologico, di cui 20 da Marocco e Tunisia selezionate
nell’ambito del progetto Lab Innova for Africa “Luca Attanasio”,
promosso da Agenzia ICE in collaborazione con il Ministero
degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale. Accanto
all’esposizione, Ecomondo ha consegnato il Premio “Lorenzo Cagnoni” per
l’Innovazione Green alle sette aziende espositrici per le tecnologie
più avanzate e promettenti presentate nei settori espositivi della
manifestazione.

الوزير: “يمكننا أن نعتبر أنفسنا من بين الدول الرائدة في العالم من حيث قدرات إعادة
التدوير. يُتحدث
كثيراً عن العناصر النادرة والمواد الخام الحيوية، لكن أكبر منجم نملكه هو
نفاياتنا…
والقدرة على إعادة التدوير تتجلى بوضوح في هذا المعرض، رمز الابتكار والاستدامة.”

هذا التعاون عن 3,800 لقاء عمل لتعزيز التعاون ونشر أفضل الممارسات في مجال الانتقال

الأيام الأربعة، نظّم منها نحو 70 فعالية اللجنة الفنية والعلمية لإيـكوموندو برئاسة الأستاذ فابيو فافا، في برنامج غني
بالمبادرات التي قدمت قراءة حديثة للتحول الأخضر عبر مختلف القطاعات.

أُولي اهتمام كبير للتعاون الدولي والتحول الأخضر في منطقة البحر المتوسط، بالإضافة إلى المبادرات

إلى طاقة نظيفة ومستدامة في إفريقيا، ضمن خطة ماتّيي وبرنامج “Mission 300”، مع انعقاد المنتدى الخامس لنمو إفريقيا الأخضر.

النسخة الرابعة عشرة من المنتدى العام للاقتصاد الأخضر فعاليات إيـكوموندو هذا العام بتقديم تقرير حالة الاقتصاد
الأخضر لعام 2025، الذي
ركز النقاش على وضع وآفاق التحول البيئي الأوروبي ضمن السياق العالمي الجديد.
أما
الجلسة العامة في اليوم الثاني فقد كانت باللغة الإنجليزية بالكامل لأول مرة، مما وسّع الطابع الدولي للحدث.

في Ecomondo 2025، جسر الابتكار بين العلم والسوق.
قدّم حيّ الابتكار (Innovation District) مساحة ورؤية لـ 40 شركة ناشئة عالية التقنية
إيطالية ودولية، من بينها 20 شركة من المغرب وتونس تم اختيارها ضمن مشروع “مختبر لوكا أتاناسيو
يبتكر من أجل إفريقيا” الذي أطلقته الوكالة الإيطالية للتجارة بالتعاون مع وزارة الخارجية والتعاون
الدولي.
وفي سياق
الحدث، قدّم إيـكوموندو جائزة “لورينزو كانيوني” للابتكار الأخضر إلى سبع شركات عارضة، واحدة من كل قطاع من
قطاعات المعرض، تقديراً للتقنيات الأكثر تقدماً ووعوداً.

Rimini, 7th November 2025 – In an increasingly volatile global context, sustainability is the compass that guides governments, businesses and the scientific community. Ecomondo 2025, Europe and the Mediterranean basin’s leading international event for the green, blue and circular economies, organized by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), came to a close today at Rimini Expo Centre, reaffirming its status as a global hub for ecological transition. A role reflected in the concrete results of an expanding 28th edition.
Total attendance grew by +7%, with +10% from abroad. Over 1,700 exhibiting brands, of which 18% from abroad, covering 166,000 square metres of exhibition space. More than 600 journalists accredited (15% from abroad), brought Rimini Expo Centre to the attention of the global community.
Underlining Ecomondo's central role on the international scene as a guide along the path towards a sustainable future that, starting in Italy, Europe is continuing to pursue with determination, was the Minister for the Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, who toured the exhibition halls on Thursday 6th November. “We can count ourselves among the leading countries in the world in terms of recycling capacity,” the minister explained. “There is a lot of talk about rare earths and critical raw materials, but the largest deposit we have is our waste... And the ability to recycle is fully demonstrated at this show, a symbol of innovation and sustainability.”
ECOMONDO 2025, THE MOST INTERNATIONAL
EDITION EVER
Ecomondo 2025 confirmed its status as a privileged venue for exchange between companies, researchers and professionals from around the world, also thanks to its collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI). A global crossroads with over 800 hosted buyers and international delegations from 65 countries. The most represented markets included Spain, Turkey, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt. To complete the picture, around 90 international associations were also involved. During the event, this network generated 3,800 business matches, promoting cooperation and the dissemination of best ecological transition practices.
GREEN TRANSITION, A TRANSVERSAL
OVERVIEW OF THE GLOBAL CONTEXT
Over 200 events took place over the
four days, around 70 of which organized by Ecomondo's Technical and
Scientific Committee, chaired by Professor Fabio Fava, in a programme
packed with initiatives, offering an up-to-date interpretation of the green
transition across a range of sectors. Key topics included: WEEE and
critical raw materials, the circular textile industry, sustainable finance in
support of the ecological transition, water management and the blue
economy, bioenergy, the circular economy, AI applied to resource enhancement
and data monitoring, Earth observation and the role of communication in
overcoming false ecological transition dilemmas.
Considerable attention was paid
to international cooperation and the green transition in the
Mediterranean, as well as initiatives for accessing clean and sustainable
energy in Africa, as part of the Mattei Plan and the “Mission 300” programme,
with the fifth edition of the Africa Green Growth Forum.
The 14th edition of the States General of the Green Economy once again opened Ecomondo with a presentation of the Report on the State of the Green Economy 2025, placing the state and prospects of the European ecological transition in the new global context at the centre of the debate. The plenary session on the second day, held entirely in English for the first time, further broadened the international scope of the event.
The return of Sal.Ve, the biennial Exhibition of Ecological Vehicles, in partnership with ANFIA, showcased the entire product range of equipment for industrial and special vehicles for collecting solid and liquid waste, street sweeping and sewage disposal.
THE INNOVATION LABORATORY
At Ecomondo 2025, innovation bridged the gap between science and market: the Innovation District provided space and visibility to 40 Italian and international high-tech start-ups, including 20 from Morocco and Tunisia selected as part of the “Luca Attanasio” Lab Innovates for Africa project, promoted by the Italian Trade Agency in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. To accompany the exhibition, Ecomondo presented the “Lorenzo Cagnoni” Award for Green Innovation to seven exhibiting companies, one from each of the event’s sectors, for the most advanced and promising technologies.
