The French Chamber of Commerce in Egypt organized the first joint workshops between the Environment Committee and the Construction & Building Materials Committee at her premises on Wednesday, the 12th of February at 10:30 AM conducted by Dr. Salah Hafez, President of the Environment Committee and Chairman of NPC South Zenima. He held the position of Vice Chairman and Board Member of The Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) in charge of Exploration and Agreements (1985-1991) and Chairman of the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) in (1991-1997). The construction and building materials committee invited her guest speaker Mr. Mahmoud El-Leithy, General Manager of ACROPOL (member of the NGO – SEDA Solar Energy Development Association). Dr. Hafez presented his point of view concerning sustainable energy and when does Egypt achieve sustainable energy. Mr. El Leithy shed light on the different technologies and applications of solar energies in Egypt.
