Egypt Renewable Energy Conference مؤتمر مصر للطاقة المتجددة

Upcoming Egypt Renewable Energy Conference Egypt REC-1, organized by the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy (MOERE) & New and Renewable Energy Authority (NREA), and the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) which will be held on October 9-11, 2018, in Al Massah hotel -Nasr city at 9:00 am  in Cairo, Egypt.

Egypt is committed to scaling-up renewable energy as part of its energy diversification strategy and economic development plans. In this regard, it has been moving rapidly to harness its rich renewable energy resources and to meet ambitious targets of 42 percent of its total electricity generation from renewables by 2022 and 2035, respectively. 

Benban Solar Park under construction near the city of Aswan, which could soon become the biggest solar installation in the world, exemplifies the energy transformation taking place in the country.

تلتزم مصر بتعزيز الطاقة المتجددة كجزء من استراتيجية تنويع الطاقة وخطط التنمية الاقتصادية. في هذا الصدد ، كانت تتحرك بسرعة لتسخير مواردها من الطاقة المتجددة لتحقيق أهداف طموحة تبلغ 42 في المائة من إجمالي توليد الكهرباء لديها من مصادر الطاقة المتجددة بحلول عام 2022 وعام 2035 على التوالي

تعتبر محطات بنبان للطاقة الشمسية تحت الإنشاء بالقرب من مدينة أسوان ، قريبا أكبر منشأة للطاقة الشمسية 

في العالم ، مثالا على تحول الطاقة الذي يحدث في مصر حاليا
