أشار مدير
مشروع سد النهضة الإثيوبي، كيفلي هورو، إلى أسباب فنية وعملية تقف وراء تأجيل
الموعد إلى عام 2022، بحسب وسائل إعلام إثيوبية وأفريقية ومصرية
وأدلى مدير المشروع بهذه التصريحات خلال اجتماع
عقد في أديس أبابا حول التقدم المحرز في مشروع سد النهضة
وذكر وفقاً لوكالة الأنباء الإثيوبية، أن
البناء قد تأخر بسبب التغيير في التصميم، ما أدى إلى زيادة سعة توليده وتأخير
تنفيذ الأعمال الكهروميكانيكية
وأضاف أن أعمال البناء جارية دون انقطاع، كما
أن بناء السد يحتاج إلى أربع سنوات إضافية حتى يكتمل بناء السد الذي يجري بناؤه في
ولاية بني شنقول – غوموز بتكلفة بلغت حتى الآن نحو 98 مليار بيروسيكون السد الذي
يولد 6.45 غيغاوات أكبر محطة للطاقة الكهرومائية في إفريقيا، وسابع أكبر سد في
العالم عند اكتماله

project manager made the remarks during a meeting in Addis Ababa regarding
progress of the Nahdha dam project
According
to the Ethiopian News Agency, the construction has been delayed due to a change
in design, resulting in increased capacity generation which delayed the
implementation of electromechanical works
He
added that the construction work is ongoing without interruption, and that the
construction of the dam needs four more years to complete the construction of
the dam that is being built in the state of Bani Shankul - Gumuz at a cost so
