قبرص بالقاهرة لبحث مستجدات مشروع الربط الذى يتم تنفيذه مع قبرص واليونان
، بحضور عدد من قيادات قطاع الكهرباء .
مؤكداً على التنسيق الجيد لمراجعة وتقييم دراسة الجدوى المقدمة من
الجانب القبرصى .
كما اكد شاكر أن لهذا المشروع التاريخى أهمية كبرى لخطة مصر
الاستراتيجية من أجل تحقيق التنمية الاقتصادية وتأمين الطاقة، كما أن هذا المشروع
يعد أحد المشروعات التى تساعد على ربط مصر بالشبكة الكهربائية الأوروبية وبهذا
ستكون مصر مركز إقليمى لتبادل الطاقة.
كما أشاد الدكتور شاكر بالمجهودات التى تقوم بها شركة Euro Africaفى هذا الصدد موضحاً اننا بذلك نكون قد نجحنا فى
وضع حجر الزاوية لبدء العمل بمشروع الربط والذى سيحقيق فوائد اقتصادية وسياسية
للدول المعنية .
واشار خلال الاجتماع إلى الأهمية التى يوليها القطاع لمشروعات
الربط الكهربائى حيث تشارك مصر بفاعلية في جميع مشروعات الربط الكهربائي الإقليمية
، وترتبط مصر كهربائياً مع دول الجوار شرقاً وغرباً مع كل من الأردن وليبيا ويتم
حالياً إعداد دراسة جدوى لزيادة سعة خط الربط الكهربائى مع الأردن لتصل إلى
2000-3000 ميجاوات بدلاً من 450 ميجاوات حالياً من خلال الربط على الجهد
الفائق المستمر HVDC.
هذا بالإضافة إلى مشروع الربط الكهربائي بين مصر والسعودية لتبادل
قدرات تصل إلى حوالى 3000 ميجاوات ، بالإضافة إلى مشروع الربط الذى يتم تنفيذه
حالياً مع السودان،
كما يتم دراسة الربط الكهربائى جنوباً في اتجاه القارة الإفريقية
للاستفادة من الإمكانيات الهائلة للطاقة المائية في أفريقيا، ومن الجدير بالذكر أن
الربط الكهربائى بين شمال وجنوب المتوسط سوف يعمل على استيعاب الطاقات الضخمة التى
سيتم توليدها من الطاقة النظيفة ،.
وأشاد سفير قبرص بالقاهرة بالعلاقات السياسية المتميزة التى تربط
بين البلدين مؤكداً على ضرورة دعم وتعزيز تلك العلاقات .
أضاف أن تنفيذ مشروع الربط يعزز الشراكة بين مصر وقبرص بالإضافة
إلى توقع الحاجة المستقبلية إلى مشروع للربط الكهربائي بين مصر وقبرص ومنها إلى
اليونان ثم إلى باقى أوروبا وبهذا ستكون مصر ناقل هام للطاقة بالنسبة للقارة
الأوروبية.
On Sunday morning, Dr. Mohamed Shaker Minister of Electricity
and Renewable Energy had a meeting with Mr. Kharis Moritzis, Ambassador of
Cyprus to Cairo, to discuss the developments of the interconnection project
being implemented with Cyprus and Greece, in the presence of a number of
leaders of the electricity sector
Stressing the good coordination of the review and evaluation
of the feasibility study provided by the Cypriot side
Shaker also stressed that this historic project is of great
importance to Egypt's strategic plan for economic development and energy
security, this project is one of the projects that will help to link Egypt to
the European electricity network, thus Egypt will be a regional center for
energy exchange
Dr. Shaker also praised the efforts exerted by Euro Africa,co
in this regard, explaining that we have succeeded in laying the cornerstone for
the start of the project of linking, which will achieve the economic and
political benefits of the countries concerned
Pointed out during the meeting the importance attached by the
sector to the projects of electric interconnection, as Egypt is actively
involved in all regional electrical connection projects. Egypt is electrically
connected with the neighboring countries in the east and west with both Jordan
and Libya. A feasibility study is being prepared to increase the capacity of
the electric link line with Jordan to 2000-3000 MW instead of 450 megawatts by
connecting to HVDC
This is in addition to the project of electrical
interconnection between Egypt and Saudi Arabia for the exchange of capacities
up to about 3000 megawatts, in addition to the linkage project currently being
implemented with Sudan,
It is also worth mentioning that the electrical connection
between the north and south of the Mediterranean will absorb the huge energies
that will be generated from clean energy
Ambassador of Cyprus in Cairo praised the distinguished
political relations between the two countries, stressing the need to support
and strengthen those relations
He added that the implementation of the linkage project strengthens the
partnership between Egypt and Cyprus in addition to anticipating the future
need for this project to connect the electricity between Egypt and Cyprus and
then to Greece, then to the rest of Europe and thus Egypt will be an important
carrier of energy for the European continent.
