Event comes on the sidelines of the African Alliance conference in Egypt from December 12th to 18th, where capacity-building has been carried out for more than 25 Egyptian associations, as well as explaining the most important energy hubs in Africa and renewable energy, and the most important projects to adapt to climate change implemented by the African Climate Alliance in some African countries
Eng. Ahmed Kamal, Executive Director of the Office of Environmental Commitment and Sustainable Development, today participated in the opening session of the African Climate Alliance conference entitled Outcomes of the 26th Climate Summit in Glasgow and the road to the Sharm el-Sheikh summit
In the
presence of His Excellency Dr. Minister of Environment Yasmine Fouad, H.E.
Ambassador Mohamed Nasr, Director of the Environment Department at the Egyptian
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Sherif Dawood, Deputy Director of the
Sustainable Development Unit at the Egyptian Ministry of Planning, represented
by His Excellency the Minister of Planning, Mr. Augustine Panter, Director of
Policy at the Climate Alliance, Mr. Fathia Abdel Meguid, Financial Director of
the African Climate Alliance, Dr. Najwa Barai, President of the African Climate
Alliance and representatives of the African Climate Alliance, as well as the
President of the African Climate Negotiating Group and representatives of the
participating stakeholders. In this conference and with the participation
of a youth foundation that loves Egypt
