تستهدف الحكومة طرح المحطات الكهربائية المقامة مع شركة سيمنس في البورصة. ونقل بيان لمجلس الوزراء عن أيمن سليمان، المدير التنفيذي لصندوق مصر السيادي، قوله إن الطرح يهدف إلى “تعظيم العائد على الأصول المملوكة للدولة، بالإضافة إلى إعادة تمويل استثمارات الدولة لتخفيف الأعباء على الميزانية العامة”. جاءت تصريحات سليمان في اجتماع عقده رئيس الوزراء مصطفى مدبولي، لمتابعة موقف طرح عدد من الشركات الحكومية في البورصة.
شيدت شركة سيمنس ثلاث محطات كهرباء في مصر بطاقة 4.8 جيجاوات لكل منها بدءًا من عام 2015 وبتكلفة إجمالية بلغت سبعة مليارات دولار، وتديرها “سيمنس” بعقد مع الحكومة المصرية مدته 8 سنوات.
صندوق مصر السيادي أعلن في مطلع 2020 تلقى عرضًا من شركة أكتيس للاستثمار المباشر، التي تتخذ من لندن مقرًا لها، للاستثمار في واحدة من هذه المحطات الكهربائية.
في سياق موازٍ، استقرت وزارة الكهرباء على تدشين مشروعات لإنتاج الهيدروجين الأخضر بقدرة 1400 ميجاوات واستثمارات تصل إلى 40 مليار جنيه حتى عام 2030 ينفذها القطاع الخاص.
ذكرت مصادر حكومية لصحيفة “البورصة” أن المشروعات المستهدف تنفيذها ستكون بقدرات مختلفة تتراوح بين 100 و150 ميجاوات للمشروع الواحد، تحصل شركة واحدة أو تحالف على أكثر من مشروع. وأوضحت أن الاتفاق على أن يتم تنفيذ المشروعات من خلال تحالفات عالمية لها خبرات سابقة في تدشين مشروعات إنتاج الهيدروجين الأخضر وبمشاركة صندوق مصر السيادي.
اتفقت الحكومة مع تحالف “سكاتك- أوراسكوم- فيرتجلوب” بالتعاون مع صندوق مصر السيادي على تدشين مشروع لإنتاج الهيدروجين الأخضر.
من المقرر الانتهاء من المشروع وتشغيله في نهاية شهر أكتوبر من العام المقبل، يعد أول تطبيق عملي لهذا النوع من المشروعات وسيعرض في قمة المناخ المقبلة بمدينة شرم الشيخ، ووصل عدد طلبات الاستثمار في مشروعات إنتاج الهيدروجين في مصر نحو 7 عروض، من شركات عالمية منها “إيني” و”ميتسوبيشي” و”ديمي” و”تيسن كروب”.
Egyptian government aims to put the electrical stations built with Siemens on the stock exchange.
A cabinet statement said , quoted Ayman Soliman, Executive Director of Egypt’s Sovereign Fund, saying that the offering aims to “maximizing the return on state-owned assets, in addition to refinancing state investments to ease the burden on the public budget.”
Suleiman's statements came in a meeting held by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, to follow up on the position of a number of government companies on the stock exchange.
Siemens,co built three power stations in Egypt with a capacity of 4.8 gigawatts each, starting in 2015 at a total cost of seven billion US dollars. Siemens manages them with an 8-year contract with the Egyptian government.
In early 2020, Egypt's sovereign fund announced that it had received an offer from the London-based Actis Direct Investment Company, to invest in one of these power stations.
In a parallel context, the Ministry of Electricity has decided to launch green hydrogen projects with a capacity of 1,400 megawatts, with investments amounting to 40 billion pounds until 2030, to be implemented by the private sector.
Government sources told “Al Borsa” Newspaper that the projects targeted for implementation will be with different capacities ranging between 100 and 150 megawatts per project, and one company or an alliance may obtain more than one project.
explained that it was agreed that the projects would be implemented through global alliances with previous experiences in launching green hydrogen production projects, with the participation of Egypt's sovereign fund.
The government agreed with the “Scatec-Orascom-Virtglobe” alliance, in cooperation with the Sovereign Fund of Egypt, to launch a project to produce green hydrogen.
The project is scheduled to be completed and operated at the end of October next year, and it is the first practical application of this type of project and will be presented at the upcoming Climate Summit in Sharm El Sheikh, Cop 27.
The number of investment requests in hydrogen production projects in Egypt reached about 7 offers, from international companies, including “ Eni, Mitsubishi, Demi and Thyssen Krupp.
