Job Summary:

 We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solar Engineer with a strong proficiency in AutoCAD for a freelance position. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of solar power projects on a contract basis, ensuring efficiency, innovation, and sustainability. This role demands a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and a deep understanding of solar energy systems.

 Main Duties:

 1. Design and Development:

   - Lead the design of solar power systems using AutoCAD.

   - Develop detailed engineering plans, drawings, and specifications for solar projects.

   - Ensure designs comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.

 2. Project Management:

   - Manage and oversee solar projects from conception through completion.

   - Coordinate with cross-functional teams including construction, procurement, and sales.

   - Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

 3. Technical Expertise:

   - Perform site assessments and feasibility studies for solar installations.

   - Conduct technical evaluations and performance analyses of solar systems.

   - Provide solutions for optimizing system performance and resolving technical issues.

 4. Client and Stakeholder Interaction:

   - Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide technical guidance.

   - Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders.

   - Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.

 5. Quality Assurance:

   - Implement quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.

   - Review and approve designs, drawings, and project documentation.

   - Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.

 6. Innovation and Improvement:

   - Stay updated with the latest advancements in solar technology and industry trends.

   - Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in project delivery.

   - Mentor and train junior engineers and team members.

 

Qualifications:

 - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in solar engineering, with a focus on design and project management.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.

- Strong understanding of solar PV system design, installation, and maintenance.

- Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of managing complex projects.

- Knowledge of electrical and structural engineering principles related to solar energy.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 Working Conditions:

 - Primarily remote work with occasional site visits as required.

- Flexibility to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

- Some travel may be required to meet with clients or visit project sites.
