القاهرة تنضم للتحالف الدولى للطاقة الشمسية

وقع صباح السبت د. محمد شاكر وزير الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة على الاتفاق الإطارى للتحالف الدولى للطاقة الشمسية ، بحضور سانجاى باتاتشاريا سفير الهند بالقاهرة وممثلى السفارة الهندية بالقاهرة وعدد من قيادات القطاع.

أوضح د. شاكربالتوقيع على الاتفاق الإطارى أصبحت مصر عضواً مؤسساً في التحالف الدولى للطاقة الشمسية نظراً لما تتمتع به من ثراء واضح فى مصادر الطاقات المتجددة وخاصة الطاقة الشمسية ، وموقعها المتميز بين مدارى السرطان والجدى.

أضاف أن وزارة الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة تعتبر نقطة الاتصال الفنية مع التحالف ولا يشترط تقديم أية مساهمات إلزامية لعضوية التحالف وإنما يعتمد على المساهمات الطوعية ويتم تنفيذ البرامج والأنشطة بمعرفة الدول الأعضاء المقترحة للأنشطة والبرامج.

أوضح أن التحالف الدولى للطاقة الشمسية يهدف إلى معالجة التحديات الرئيسية المتعلقة بالطاقة الشمسية وتوسيع نطاق استخدامها في الدول أعضاء التحالف بما يتوافق مع احتياجات هذه الدول.

وأضاف الوزير أن المبادئ التوجيهية للتحالف تتضمن تعاون الدول الأعضاء في تنفيذ برامج متسقة وأنشطة تطوعية لتمويل مشروعات الطاقة الشمسية وزيادة الاهتمام بالابتكار والبحوث وبناء القدرات حيث تقوم الأمانة العامة للتحالف بتنسيق البرامج والأنشطة مع الدول الأعضاء.

أشار شاكر إلى الفوائد المتوقعة من انضمام مصر لهذا التحالف والتي تتضمن الاستفادة من دعم التحالف للدول الأعضاء بالخبرات اللازمة حيث يسعى التحالف إلى معالجة تحديات الطاقة الشمسية في هذه الدول ، كما يسعى إلى حشد مبلغ تريليون دولار من جهات التمويل الدولية لمشروعات الطاقة الشمسية في شكل تمويلات ميسرة، الاستفادة من برامج التحالف الخاصة ببناء القدرات والبحث والتطوير والابتكار في مجال الطاقة الشمسية،

هذا بالإضافة إلى تعزيز علاقات التعاون مع الدول المشاركة في التحالف والتي بلغ عددها 50 دولة وقعت على الاتفاق الإطارى للتحالف منها 5 دول عربية.

كما يمكن اقتراح الأنشطة وتنفيذها في التحالف بمعرفة الدول الأعضاء ذات الاهتمام المشترك بالتنسيق مع سكرتارية التحالف ما يمكن أن يسهم في تحقيق الأولويات الوطنية وفقاً لوجهة النظر المصرية.

وجدير بالذكر أن التحالف الدولى للطاقة الشمسية مقره بالهند الدولة المودع لديها الإتفاق، وتتبرع الحكومة الهندية بمبلغ 27 مليون دولار لتشكيل رأس مال التحالف وبنية تحتية لمدة 5 سنوات.

وقع التحالف عدة مذكرات تفاهم مع عدد من منظمات التمويل الدولية لتوفير التمويل الميسر للمشروعات التي يطلقها التحالف في الدول الأعضاء وهو ما يؤكد على مصداقية أنشطة التحالف واهتمام جهات التمويل بالتعامل من خلال التحالف في مشروعات الطاقة الشمسية وفرص الاستفادة منها.

Cairo joining International Solar Energy Alliance

Dr. Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy have signed framework agreement of the International Solar Energy Alliance, in the presence of Sanjay Patacharya, Ambassador of India in Cairo, Saturday Morning.

Dr. Shaker said : by signing the framework agreement, Egypt became a founding member of the International Solar Energy Alliance because of its obvious wealth in the sources of renewable energies, especially solar energy, and its distinguished position

 Added that the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy is the technical point of contact with the Alliance and does not require any mandatory contributions to the membership of the Alliance, but depends on voluntary contributions and the implementation of programs and activities by the Member States proposed for activities and programs

explained that the International Solar Energy Alliance aims to address the main challenges related to solar energy and expand its use in the member countries of the Alliance in accordance with the needs of these countries  Alliance's guidelines include the cooperation of Member States in the implementation of coherent programs and voluntary activities to finance solar projects and increase interest in innovation, research and capacity-building, where the Alliance Secretariat coordinates programs and activities with Member States

Shaker pointed to the expected benefits of Egypt's accession to this alliance, which includes benefiting from the Alliance's support to the Member States with the necessary expertise.

Alliance seeks to address the challenges of solar energy in these countries and seeks to mobilize $ 1 trillion from international financing for solar projects in the form of soft financing, to benefit from the Alliance's capacity-building, research, development and innovation programs in solar energy

In addition to strengthening cooperation relations with the countries participating in the coalition, which amounted to 50 countries signed the framework agreement of the alliance, including five Arab countries

Activities can be proposed and implemented in the Alliance by Member States of common interest and coordination through the Secretariat of the Alliance, which can contribute to the achievement of national priorities according to the Egyptian viewpoint

It is noteworthy that the International Solar Alliance is based in India and the depositary country has the agreement, and the Indian government is donating $ 27 million to form the alliance capital and infrastructure for 5 years

The alliance signed several memorandums of understanding with a number of international funding organizations to provide soft financing for the projects launched by the alliance in the member countries, which confirms the credibility of the activities of the alliance and the interest of funding agencies to deal through the alliance in solar projects and opportunities to benefit from them
