استقبل د. محمد شاكر وزير الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة الثلاثاء

أشاد
د. شاكر في بداية اللقاء بعمق العلاقات المصرية الأمريكية والمتمثل فى التعاون
القائم مع شركة جنرال اليكتيرك GE حيث
شاركت فى الخطة العاجلة التى قام بتفيذها قطاع الكهرباء المصرى بقدرات تصل إلى
حوالى 2000 ميجاوات من إجمالى 3632 ميجاوات ، فضلاً عن ثلاثة محطات محولات
بالتعاون مع ألستوم بقدرة 3500 ك.ف .
يتم حالياً المضي قدماً في استكمال مشروع الربط
الكهربائي المشترك بين مصر والسعودية من خلال خطوط للربط الكهربائي بنظام التيار
المستمر قدرة 3000 ميجاوات على جهد ± 500 ك.ف والتى يعتبر نموذج مثالى لمشروعات
الربط الكهربائى نظراً لاختلاف ساعات الذورة بين الصباح والمساء فى البلدين
والمتوقع بدء تشغيل المرحلة الأولي من المشروع في عام 2021، ونطمح ان تتم خطوات
هذا المشروع طبقاً للجدول الزمنى المخطط له، وذلك للانتهاء منه فى الموعد المحدد.
تم توقيع مذكرة تفاهم للربط الكهربائي شمالاً مع
قبرص واليونان فى قارة أوروبا. وبذلك تكون مصر مركز محوري للربط الكهربائي بين
ثلاث قارات.
كما
قام قطاع الكهرباء المصري بتوقيع مذكرة تفاهم أثناء توقيع اتفاقية تعاون مع
المنظمة الدولية لتطوير مشروعات الربط الكهربائي (GEIDCO) للتعاون في عدد من المجالات من بينها إجراء البحوث حول
استراتيجية الطاقة فى مصر، وتعزيز تنمية استخدام الطاقات المتجددة وتكامل الشبكات
الكهربائية، وكذا التشاور الفني لتطبيقات الشبكات الذكية، بالإضافة إلى الترويج
لمفهوم الربط الكهربائي العالمي.
اشار
الوزير إلى أن الإجراءات التى اتخذها اقطاع الكهرباء للتغلب على مشكلة انقطاع
التيار الكهربائى مؤكداً على النجاح الذى حققه لسد فجوة العجز فى الانتاج وتحويلها
إلى وجود إحتياطى.
أوضح
شاكر أنه يجرى حالياً اتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لإنشاء محطات إنتاج الكهرباء
باستخدام تكنولوجيا الفحم النظيف بالتعاون مع القطاع الخاص بقدرات تصل إلى 6000
ميجاوات في موقع الحمراوين على ساحل البحر الأحمر وقد تم دعوة شركات أمريكية
ويابانية وصينية وكورية للمشاركة في هذا المشروع ، مؤكداً على الجهود المبذولة
للعمل بدقة فائقة والبحث عن أقل التكاليف المتاحة ، وقد تم تعيين استشاري عالمي
(بلجيكي) يقوم بالتقييم الفني والمالي للعروض.
Dr.
Mohammed Shaker, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, had a meeting
with Mr. Thomas Goldburger, Chargé d'affaires of the United States Embassy and
his accompanying delegation, to discuss the existing and future cooperation
between the electricity sector and American companies.
At
the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Shaker praised the deep Egyptian-American
relations in cooperation with General Electric Company GE, which participated
in the urgent plan implemented by the Egyptian electricity sector with
capacities of about 2000 MW of total 3632 MW, as well as three transformer
stations in cooperation with Alstom capacity 3500 KV.
During
the meeting, Dr. Shaker reviewed the project of transforming Egypt into a regional energy center, pointing
out the remarkable geographic location of Egypt
at the confluence of the three continents Africa, Asia and Europe .

countries in the east and west with Jordan
and Libya
The
project is also underway to complete the project of joint electrical connection
between Egypt and Saudi Arabia through the lines of the electrical connection
of the current system capacity of 3000 MW on the effort ± 500 KV, which is an
ideal model of the projects of electric linkage due to the difference peak hours
of morning and evening hours of the two countries and is expected to start
Operation of the first phase of the project in 2021, and we hope that the steps
of this project will be carried out according to the planned timetable, to be
completed on time.
A
memorandum of understanding has been signed for electrical connection northward
with Cyprus and Greece in Europe .
Thus, Egypt
The
Egyptian Electricity Sector signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during
the signing of a cooperation agreement with the International Organization for
the Development of Electric Linking Projects (GEIDCO) to cooperate in a number
of fields, including research on the energy strategy in Egypt
The
minister pointed out that the measures taken by the electricity sector to
overcome the problem of power outages, stressing the success achieved to bridge
the deficit gap in production and turn it into a reserve.
Shaker
explained that the necessary measures are currently being taken to establish
electricity production plants using clean coal technology in cooperation with
the private sector with capacities of up to 6000 MW at the site of the Red Sea coast. US , and a search for the lowest available
costs. Consultant (Belgian) has been appointed to provide technical and
financial evaluation of the offers.
Thomas
Goldberger, the Chargé d'Affaires of the United
States of America , praised the efforts exerted in the
Egyptian electricity and renewable energy sector, expressing his country's
desire to increase the volume of investments in Egypt
