جدد مكتب الإلتزام البيئى والتنمية المستدامة باتحاد الصناعات المصرية اتفاقية القرض الميسر بالتعاون بين جهاز شؤون البيئة (صندوق حماية البيئة) والبنك الأهلي المصري (قطاع الاتفاقيات الدولية)  تحت رعاية وبحضورد. خالد فهمي وزير البيئة.

صرح د. خالد فهمي، أن الاتفاق يهدف إلى مساعدة الصناعات الصغيرة والمتوسطة على توفيق أوضاعها البيئية، عن طريق قروض ميسرة تم رفعها لتصل الى 7 مليون جنيه مصرى تسدد على أقساط سنوية من سنة حتى خمس سنوات متضمنة سنة واحدة سماح ومصاريف إدارية 3,5% عن طريق البنك الأهلى المصرى أوالبنوك المشاركة ، الاتفاق أثبت في الفترة السابقة نجاحه في توفير آلية تمويلية لعدد كبير من المنشآت، ما شجع على مد الاتفاق لانه من الضرورى مساعدة الصناعة فنيا وتمويليا على التوافق بيئيا قبل فرض العقوبات في حال اللإضرار بالبيئة.

من جانبه صرح د. شريف الجبلي، رئيس لجنة تسيير مكتب الإلتزام البيئى والتنمية المستدامة بدء العمل باتفاقية القرض منذ 2005 وتحققت العديد من الانجازات بلغ عدد المشروعات 425 مشروع بإجمالي تمويل 410 مليون جنيه وذلك لتنفيذ مشروعات ذات عائد بيئي واقتصادي تبلغ إجمالي استثماراتها 620 مليون جنيه.

أضاف م. أحمد كمال، المدير التنفيذى لمكتب الإلتزام البيئى والتنمية المستدامة، ان المكتب قدم الدعم الفني لأكثر من 1800 منشأة صناعية خلال الفترة من 2005 وبلغت نسبة المشروعات المنفذة بالقاهرة الكبري 29%، بالصعيد 17%، بالاسكندرية 19%، الدلتا 33% و5% بمدن القناة. ساهمت فى رفع القدرات التنافسية للمنتجات المصرية مما ادى الى خلق فرص للاستثمار والتصدير وتحسين بيئة العمل وفتح أسواق عمل جديدة ومحاولة الربط بين العائد الاقتصادى وبيئة العمل الجيدة داخل المنشآت الصناعية.

Environmental Compliance Office and Sustainable Development, Federation of Egyptian Industries has renewed concessional loan agreement in cooperation between the Environmental Affairs Agency (EPA) and the National Bank of Egypt (International Agreements Sector) under the auspices  Dr. Khaled Fahmy Minister of Environment

 Dr. Fahmy said agreement aims to help small and medium industries to adjust their environmental conditions through soft loans that have been raised to reach LE 7 million, which are paid in annual installments from one to five years, including one year of grace and administrative expenses of 3.5 percent through the bank

Agreement has proved in the previous period that it has succeeded in providing a financing mechanism for a large number of enterprises, which encouraged the extension of the agreement because it is necessary to help the industry technically and financially to agree to the environment before imposing sanctions in case of damage to the environment.
For his part, Dr. Sherif Al-Gabali, Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Environmental Compliance Office and Sustainable Development add the loan agreement program was launched since 2005 achieved many achievements

Number of projects amounted to 425 projects with a total funding of LE 410 million to implement projects with an environmental and economic return of LE 620 million.
For his part, Eng. Ahmed Kamal, Executive Director of the Environmental Compliance Office and Sustainable Development, said that the Office provided technical support to more than 1800 industrial establishments during the period from 2005, and the percentage of projects implemented in Greater Cairo was 29 percent, 17 percent in Alexandria 17percent , Delta 33 percent and 5percent  in Canal Cities

ECO contributed to increasing the competitiveness of Egyptian products, thus creating opportunities for investment and export, improving the working environment, opening new labor markets and trying to link the economic return and the good work environment within the industrial establishments
