سولار. أفكر في سؤال من أنا بنظرة أكثر وجودية، أنا شخص لدي وجهة نظر أريد أن أثبتها.
أريد أن أثبت أنك يمكن أنك يمكن أن تنجز مشروعا ما في هذا البلد دون فساد أو محسوبية.
يمكنك أن تبني مؤسسة بالطرق السليمة التي تبنى بها المؤسسات. هذا أمر أعمل جاهدا من
أجله وأفكر فيه كل يوم، كيف أعمل من أجل تحقيق هذا الهدف، لدرجة أن هذا الهدف يشكل
حياتي وأصبح جزءا من شخصيتي
عملي الأساسي هو التمكين. دوري هو خلق السياق أو البيئة
وبناء المؤسسة التي تمكن الناس من إظهار إمكاناتهم، وتتيح لهم الموارد اللازمة لتقديم
أفضل ما لديهم. لذا أنا أنشئ نظاما يحفز العاملين، ثم أطرح عليهم أفكار وتحديات جديدة.
وقد أختلف معهم وأناقشهم بعد ذلك لأرى ما الذي يمكننا فعله وما الذي قد لا نستطيع فعله.
كل هذا جزء من عملية التحفيز والتمكين
ليس لدي روتين صباحي واحد بل ثلاثة. إذا سافرت إلى
أحد مواقعنا، أبدأ يومي مبكرا جدا، لذا أستيقظ في الساعة 5 أو 5:30 صباحا. وبعض الأيام
ألعب رياضة (أستمتع جدا بلعب التنس) وبعض الأيام لا أتمكن من ذلك. ولكني أحاول أن أنتظم

أشياء جديدة. أحب أن أكتشف أشياء جديدة. وإذا كنت سأقضي يومي في القاهرة، أستيقظ عادة
حوالي الساعة السابعة صباحا، وأحرص على أكون في مكتبي حوالي الساعة 10 صباحا. وأحيانا
أمارس بعض التمرينات الرياضية في الصباح، وأحيان أخرى أفعل ذلك في الثامنة مساء
قراءاتي الأخيرة والتي أثرت في كثيرا هي كتاب The Enigma of Reason ،
وهو كتاب قد يصنف ضمن كتب الاقتصاد السلوكي. يساعدك على فهم أصل المنطق عند البشر،
وهو كتاب رائع إذا كنت تريد أن تعرف كيف يتصرف الإنسان، وكيف يفكر، وما الذي يحفزنا
وكيف نتخذ قراراتنا. ومؤخرا استمتعت بمشاهدة فيلمين وثائقيين عن مهرجان "فاير"
الموسيقي أحدهما على نتفليكس والآخر على هولو. وهناك الكثير من الأشياء التي نتعلمها
من الفيلمين اللذين يتحدثان عن المهرجان الموسيقي الأسطوري الذي جرى الترويج له قبل
عامين من قبل الكثير من المشاهير على الإنترنت ولكنه لم يقام. تفهم من هذه القصة كيف
تحول وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي بعض الأشخاص لمشاركين في الفساد. وبالحديث عن الأفلام،

قصة كرم سولار مثيرة بالفعل. كنا أربعة أشخاص طردنا
من شركة كبرى في عام 2011. كان يدير الشركة شخص لا يؤمن بالابتكار أو الطاقة المتجددة،
لذا عندما أسسنا كرم سولار في أكتوبر 2011 أردنا أن نثبت لأنفسنا وبالطبع له أن رؤيتنا
ستنجح. بدأنا من "أرابيكا" وهو "كافيه" صغير في الزمالك. ما أحبه
في هذه القصة أيضا أن الأشخاص الذين منحونا الاستثمار المبدئي في شركتنا كانوا أشخاصا
يعملون في الشركة التي طردنا منها، فقد آمنوا بنا وأرادوا دعمنا
منطقة تميز كرم سولار هي قوة العقل. نحن مبتكرون للغاية،
ولا نقبل الأشياء أبدا كما هي. نقوم بالتطوير والتغيير في نموذج أعمالنا بشكل متواصل،
ليس من أجل التفوق على منافسينا، ولكن من أجل أن نكون في طليعة التطوير كهدف في حد
ذاته. نحاول تطوير المعرفة القائمة، ونعيد حرفيا تصميم نموذج الأعمال الخاص بمشروعات

I am Ahmad Zahran Co-Founder and
CEO of KarmSolar.
I'm thinking of asking who I am with a more existential outlook, I'm someone I have a point of view I want to prove. I want to prove that you can do something in this country without corruption or favouritism.

You can build an institution in
the proper ways that institutions are built. This is something I work hard to
think about every day, how I work to achieve this goal, so that this goal is my
life and became part of my personality.
My basic work is empowerment.
Periodicity is to create a context or environment and build an institution that
enables people to show their potential and give them the resources to provide
their best.
So I create a system that
motivates employees, and then I bring them new ideas and challenges. I disagree
with them and discuss them afterwards to see what we can do and what we may not
be able to do. All this is part of the stimulation and empowerment process.
I do not have one morning routine
but three. If I travel to one of our locations, I start my day very early, so I
wake up at 5 or 5:30 am. Some days I play sports (I enjoy playing tennis) and
some days I cannot. But I try to organize it.
Then I went down to visit some
sites. This is almost the best time I spend. I like to visit our sites that are
still under construction, and imagine how their shape will be, when completed,
just as I like to look at our existing sites and remember how they were before
we started working out.
If I am traveling abroad, should be sure to
bring with me a large stock of reading and viewing. When I take a plane I spend
a lot of time thinking, developing new ideas, and also reading and watching new
things.
I like to discover new things. If
I spend my day in Cairo, I usually wake up around 7 am and make sure to be in
my office around 10 am. Sometimes I do some exercise in the morning, and
sometimes I do it at eight in the evening.
Usually I am associated with many
meetings, and some days I get out of a meeting to get into another. When I am
in the office, I try to walk around and talk to everyone, or ask them what they
are doing. I also like to eat with the team, which helps me understand the
company and what the team thinks.
Eating is essential to us, so we have a group lunch daily, and the company fund of it twice a week.

It is a time when workers gather
together, sometimes calling their friends.
I also keep a small library in my office, and when I sometimes feel like needing a break, I fall a little on the floor or read for a while. Our day is long, and I sleep only for three or four hours, so I need a nap from time to time. I work hard to be at home early.

My last reading, which has greatly
influenced the book is The Enigma of Reason, a book that may be
classified as a book of behavioural economics.
It helps you understand the origin
of logic in humans, a wonderful book if you want to know how human behaves, how
it thinks, what motivates us and how we make our decisions. Recently I enjoyed
watching two documentary films about the Fire Festival, one on Netflix and the
other on Hulu.
There are a lot of things to learn
from the two films about the legendary music festival, which was promoted two
years ago by many celebrities on the Internet, but it did not take place. You
understand from this story how social media transforms some people into
participants in corruption. Speaking of films, there is a Spanish film I loved
and recommend to everyone to watch on the night of the 12 years.
Story of Karm Solar is already
exciting. We were four people expelled from a major company in 2011. The
company ran a person who did not believe in innovation or renewable energy. So
when we founded KarmSolar in October 2011 we wanted to prove to ourselves and
of course for others, that our vision would work.
We started from Arabica, a small
cafe in Zamalek.
What I like about this story is
that the people who gave us the initial investment in our company were people
who worked in the company that drove us out. They believed in us and wanted to
support us.
The area marked by KarmSolar is
the power of Mind.
We are very creative, and we never
accept things as they are. We continuously develop and change our business
model, not to outperform our competitors, but to be at the forefront of
development as an end in itself.
We try to develop existing
knowledge, and literally redesign the business model of energy projects. I
think we will be the first real solar facility worldwide, I mean it.
People usually think
that we are a company to set up solar plants or we are a company to produce
solar technology, but we are not this or that: we are a solar facility.
We are a future energy company.
All of our infrastructure is designed by traditional means of energy
production, distribution and management. But so far there is no renewable
energy facility at all, and that's what we're building.
The establishment of solar plants
is a very small part of what we do. What we really do is design and produce solutions
for solar powered facilities and buildings, the core of our business is to
think about how those installations will be Inside the company, that we deal
with, Innovation

at the forefront of change in an industry

We look at commercial and technical things in
a very new way. Externally, we play an active role, working with regulators and
government to conceptualize and plan future legislation. Many of the things we
work on do not have existing references, and this is one of the most exciting
things in our scope of work.
We literally have a completely
white paper filled with the most innovative business and technical ideas.

work I received was from my teacher and my best friend for over 15 years
It encouraged me to practice
silent thinking, to keep away from everything and avoid distraction, to think
only about what you do in your life, you’re future plans, and your competitive
advantage.
Sometimes we become slaves to our
success or our failure. It keeps us out of our way and does not make us see
what we have to do. Was an expert in that, to stop to think in silence? I
learned it from him and I try to do it as much as possible.
He also taught me business
strategies and methodologies in areas not related to my area of work. So I
learned how to make use of any story I hear and try to understand things, and
how to look for things I can use for strategic planning in documentaries, films
or any arts. Finally, teach me how to develop myself as a human being, not as an
entrepreneur or a businessman, but as a human being. This is very important
because we need a comprehensive view of ourselves
How do I stay
organized?
Who said I am an entrepreneur? This is a default question. I'm not organized but I try. I do many things at the same time. If you cannot be organized, the best thing to do is to have organized people around you, I think that's what I'm doing.
