أعلنت مجموعة البنك الدولي، فوز مشروع
توليد الطاقة الشمسية في بنبان بأسوان
بالجائزة السنوية لأفضل مشروعات البنك تميزاً على مستوى العالم، المرة الأولى التي تفوز فيها مصر بهذه الجائزة، بحسب بيان من وزارة الاستثمار
والتعاون الدولي ، الأربعاء الماضي.
وفقا للبيان، نظمت كريستالينا جورجييڤا، الرئيس
المؤقت للبنك، احتفالية خاصة بتلك المناسبة بمقر البنك في واشنطن، بحضور قيادات
البنك وأعضاء مجلسه التنفيذي.
أشادت كريستالينا بالمشروع ومعدلات تنفيذه
المتسارعة، وما يستهدفه من تحقيق طفرة كبيرة في إطار زيادة اعتماد مصر
على الطاقة المتجددة وتنويع مصادرها من الطاقة كهدف وطني استراتيجي.
المجلس التنفيذي لمؤسسة التمويل الدولية - الذراع
المعنية بالقطاع الخاص بمجموعة البنك الدولي-
وافق بالإجماع في يوليو 2017 على إقامة مشروع توليد الطاقة الشمسية ببنان،
بحيث يكون أضخم مشروع لإنتاج الطاقة الشمسية على
مستوى العالم.
مؤسسة التمويل الدولية قامت بتمويل المشروع بقيمة
653 مليون دولار، ضمن القيمة الإجمالية البالغة للمشروع والبالغة 2 مليار دولار،
لتوليد طاقة كلية تصل إلى 1600 ميجاوات، وبمشاركة البنك الأوروبي لإعادة الإعمار
والتنمية وعدد كبير من الشركات العالمية الكبرى.
ذكرت وزيرة الاستثمار أن المشروع يعكس التزام مصر
دولياً بتعهداتها بشأن الاتفاقات الدولية لتغير المناخ، وإقليمياً في إطار خطة
تحول مصر لمركز محوري للطاقة في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا، ووطنياً من خلال دعم
هدف توليد 20% من الكهرباء من الطاقة النظيفة بحلول عام 2022.
يساهم البنك الدولي في
دعم مصر في مجال الطاقة بقيمة تتجاوز 1.1 مليار دولار، بخلاف مشروع الطاقة الشمسية ببنان،
ومن أبرز المشروعات المشارك في دعمها مشروع تطوير طاقة الرياح بقيمة 219.7 مليون
دولار، مشروع جنوب حلوان بقيمة 585.4 مليون دولار، مشروع توصيل الغاز للمنازل
بقيمة 300 مليون دولار.
World
Bank Group (WBG) has announced that the solar power plant in Penban, Aswan, has
won the annual award for the best projects in the world, the first time Egypt

According
to the statement, Cristalina Georgieva, the bank's interim president, organized
a special ceremony for the occasion at the Bank's headquarters in Washington,
DC, in the presence of the Bank's leaders and members of its executive board
Cristalina
praised the project and its rapid implementation rates and aims to achieve a
major leap in the context of increasing Egypt's reliance on renewable energy
and diversifying its sources of energy as a national strategic goal
The
Executive Board of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), private sector
arm of the World Bank Group, unanimously approved in July 2017 the construction
of the solar power plant in Penban, largest solar power project in the world
IFC
has funded the project with a total of $ 653 million, out of a total value of $
2 billion total capacity of 1,600 megawatts, with the participation of the
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and a large number of major
international companies
The
project reflects Egypt's international commitment to its commitments to
international climate change agreements and regionally as part of Egypt's plan
to transform Egypt into a hub for energy in the Middle East and Africa, and by
supporting the goal of generating 20 percent of clean energy by 2022, the
Minister of Investment said
The
World Bank contributes more than $ 1.1 billion to support Egypt in the field of
energy, in addition to the solar energy project in Penban.
Project
is supported by the $ 219.7 million wind development project, the South Helwan
$ 585.4 million project, Million dollars, and $ 300 million home gas delivery
project
