بالقاهرة بالتعاون مع مركز تكنولوجيا الإنتاج الأنظف مناقشة حول إدارة
النفايات والطاقة مع خبراء رفيعي المستوى من الأوساط الأكاديمية والحكومية
والشركات متعددة الجنسيات والشركات الناشئة يوم الأحد 4 نوفمبر.

لتحديات عصرنا، نحتاج إلى الجمع بين مختلف أصحاب المصلحة الذين لديهم مهارات ورؤى
متطابقة" قال سفير السويد، يان تيسليف، تفتخرالسويد بنموذج الحلزون الثلاثي ، أسلوب تعاوني تعمل من خلاله
الأوساط الأكاديمية والحكومية والقطاع الخاص معاً لخلق أوجه تآزر لحل مختلف
التحديات المجتمعية، بما في ذلك الحلول المبتكرة للنفايات والطاقة. تواجه
مصر والسويد تحديات متشابهة، وكلاهما لديه خبرات للمشاركة. يسعدنا أن نتمكن من
إنشاء منصة لتعزيز الحوار حول هذه القضية الهامة التي تعزز البيئة المستدامة والنمو الاقتصادي. تلتزم
مصر والسويد كلية بأهداف التنمية المستدامة وجدول أعمال عام 2030."
أدار الندوة د. أحمد جابر، أستاذ الهندسة الكيميائية في
جامعة القاهرة ورئيس شركة كيمونكس مصر للاستشارات، وم. ياسر
شريف، المدير التنفيذي لشركة انفايرونكس. وكان من بين المشاركين ممثلون من جامعة
القاهرة وجامعة عين شمس والمعهد الملكي للتكنولوجيا في ستوكهولم KTH وممثلون من الشركات
السويدية، ABB وبوسون
للطاقة وسويكو البيئية.
عُقدت الجلسة على هامش المؤتمر الدولي الثاني بشأن الاتجاهات
الحديثة فى الطاقة المستدامة، الذي استضافته جامعة فاروس بالإسكندرية بالتعاون مع
المعهد الملكي للتكنولوجيا في ستوكهولم KTH من 5 الى 7 نوفمبر.
الجامعتين لديهما شراكة طويلة الأمد مما يجلب التعليم السويدي
الهندسي وعلوم الجودة إلى مصر، التعاون منصة هامة للتبادل الأكاديمي. يتم تسجيل
عدة عشرات من طلاب سنويا للدراسات العليا في KTH.
The Embassy of Sweden in
Cairo organized a high-level expert panel on Sunday 4 November to share
experiences from Sweden and Egypt on the topic of waste management and energy.
The event was held in cooperation with the Egypt National Cleaner Production Center. Panelists
included experts from academia, government,
multinational enterprises and startups.
“In order to solve the
challenges of our time, we need to bring together different stakeholders with
matching skills and visions” said the Ambassador of Sweden, Mr. Jan
Thesleff. “Sweden is proud of the triple helix model, a collaborative
method through which academia, government and the private sector work together
to create synergies to solve various societal challenges, including innovative
solutions to waste and energy. Egypt and Sweden are facing similar
challenges and we both have experiences to share. We are happy to be
able to create a platform to further the dialogue around such an important
issue that favors a more sustainable environment and economic development.
Egypt and Sweden are both fully committed to the SDGs and Agenda 2030.”
The panels were
moderated by Dr. Ahmed Gaber, Professor of Chemical Engineering at
the Cairo University and Chairman of Chemonus Egypt Consulting, and
Eng. Yasser Sherif, Managing Director of Environics. Among the
Panelists were representatives from Cairo University, Ain Shams
University, KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, and
representatives of the Swedish companies ABB, IKEA, Boson Energy and
Sweco Environmental.
The panel was held on
the eve of the Second International Conference on New Trends in
Sustainable Energy, hosted by Pharos University in Alexandria in collaboration
with Sweden’s KTH Royal Institute of Technology (5 – 7 November). The
two universities have a long-term partnership which brings Swedish quality
engineering and science education to Egypt, and is a solid platform for
academic exchange. Each year several dozen post-graduate students are enrolled
at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
