السادس والأربعين بحضور د. محمد صلاح الرئيس
التنفيذي لجهاز شئون البيئة وأعضاء المجلس من ممثلى الجهات المختلفة.
أكدت فؤاد خلال
الاجتماع على ضرورة مواكبة العمل البيئي على المستوى العالمي والذي
يتسم بالسرعة والتشعب والتداخل مع قطاعات مختلفة واتساع قاعدة أصحاب المصلحة، من
خلال مجموعة من التشريعات والإجراءات، وتعريف المفاهيم الخاصة بصون الموارد
الطبيعية بشكل واضح.
عرض د. محمد صلاح رئيس جهاز شئون البيئة جدول أعمال الاجتماع للمناقشة من
قبل المجلس ، حيث تم مناقشة عدد من الموضوعات ومنها الرسوم الخاصة بزيارة المحميات
الطبيعية وممارسة الأنشطة لتحسين كفاءة إدارة الموارد الطبيعية بالمحميات وفق
منهجية التنمية المستدامة، والقواعد القانونية لمنح حق ممارسة الانشطة بالمحميات
الطبيعية بما يتوافق مع طبيعتها.
ناقش الإجتماع موقف
تجديد تصاريح تداول واستخدام الفحم للمنشآت والمراجعات البيئية للشركات ومدى
التزامها بالاشتراطات البيئية، بالإضافة إلى عرض الاستراتيجية الوطنية للإدارة
المتكاملة للمناطق الساحلية وخطة الطوارئ الوطنية لمواجهة حوادث التلوث بنهر
النيل، وعرض بعض المواد الواردة بقانون تنظيم ادارة المخلفات والتي تتداخل
مع مواد مشابهة في قانون البيئة واجراءات حل هذا التداخل.
وافق المجلس على إصدار
دليل الاشتراطات البيئية الاسترشادية لمواقع المدارس الجديدة التي سيتم إنشائها ،
واتخاذ عدد من الإجراءات لتنمية موارد جهاز شئون البيئة.
Dr. Yasmin Fouad Minister of Environment chaired
Meeting of the Board of Directors of the forty-sixth Egyptian Environmental
Affairs Agency, EEAA, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Salah, Chief Executive
Officer of EAA and members of the Council from representatives of various
bodies.
During the meeting, Fouad stressed the need to
keep pace with the environmental action at the global level, which is
characterized by speed, complexity, interaction with different sectors and
broad stakeholder base, through a set of legislation procedures, and the
definition of concepts of conservation of natural resources, clearly.
She pointed out that the coming period should
witness a change in the language of the various groups in the language
appealing to expansion of the stakeholders' base in the environment sector,
adding that the Ministry is currently working on the preparation of an
environmental communication strategy with specific objectives and measurable
indicators, stressed for the need to take the necessary steps into
consideration during the upcoming meetings of the Board of Directors and captures
expertise of members of the Council to achieve a strong impetus for the
environment sector in Egypt and to ensure the sustainability via actions that
will be taken and completed through future generations.
Dr. Mohamed Salah Chairman of the Egyptian
Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA), discussed the agenda of the meeting for
discussion by the Council.
A number
of topics were discussed, including the fees for visits to nature reserves and
activities to improve the efficiency of natural resources management in
protected areas according to the methodology of sustainable development and the
legal rules for granting the right to practice activities in natural reserves
Nature.
Meeting discussed the position of renewing
permits for the circulation and use of coal for enterprises and environmental
audits of companies to ensure their compliance with environmental requirements,
in addition to the presentation of the national strategy for integrated coastal
zone management and the national emergency plan to confront pollution incidents
in the Nile River and the presentation of some articles contained in the law
regulating waste management, Environment and procedures for resolving such
interference.
Board approved issuance of a guide to
environmental guidelines for new school sites to be established and a number of
measures to develop the resources of EEAA.

welcome and support the Ministry of Environment's initiative to change the
environmental discourse and expand the stakeholder base to achieve the concept
of sustainability, the context of achieving the deployment of renewable energy
applications and integrated water management, the aim of the Egyptian Network
for Renewables and Water Cycle. ENFRWC
The question is where is the Path?
What
the meeting pointed out the beginnings and efforts required and measurements , what after the
beginnings?
In
other words
Stakeholders
want a specific road-map, from, to, throughout.
Sustainability
is not a goal, It is sustainable management style to achieve sustainability in
the whole society.
